"The loneliest people are the kindest, the saddest people smile the brightest, and the most damaged people are the wisest. All because they don't wish to see others suffer like they do." - Anonymous
I saw the same girl, still playing in the rain
It was a raining season, she must had a blast
Her blouse and skirt are dripping wet
but boy, she didn't seem to be upset
I saw the same girl, still playing in the rain
This time, she had company, two bubblegum girls who look just like her
She made them laugh, but her smile faded too soon after
Raising her head to the sky, whatever she prayed for, she didn't get the answer
I saw the same girl, still playing in the rain
This time, she saw me too, looking at her in concern
Her frown turned to smile, saying "come play with me this time,"
I did, feeling the joy she portrayed days ago, still on her face was colour I couldn't define
I saw the same girl, still playing in the rain
This time it was at night, with tears mistaken for raindrops
I walked towards her as she struggled putting that smile back on her face
Alas, when all effort failed, frustrated, she left the place
I saw the same girl, still playing in the rain
Except this time, she was just standing there. Blank.
I asked why, she said, "my happiness came from these grey clouds"
"But you're not happy," Offended, she ran again to her secret hideout.
I never saw her again, even though it was still raining
Some birds told me she died of heartbreak, a bridge in the pouring rain
But then I was stuck thinking what words she should've been told
Maybe I could've saved her soul as simple as "Come home, you're catching cold,"

and yea. Let's not sugarcoat the world. Talk about suicide, mental health and any other important issues. We can at least help if we can't save.
