Chapter one

Hey guys my name is Vanessa Star James and im mexican mixed with African American and im 8 years old and my dad left me when i was baby. But i want you guys to know my story from the beginning so lets get in to the story.>> So i was sleeping in my quiet room peacefully until i heard my mommy yelling  screaming so i ran really fast downstairs and my mommy was on the floor bleeding and bruised up with my mom boyfriend on top of her with his fist balled up.V<vanessa>: mommy whats going on? Why are you on the floor bleeding? M<Mom/maria> its okay honey mommy just fell go back to bed. V<vanessa> ok mommy... I already knew she was lying because she doesnt like me to see her like this. He been doing this to her ever since i was 6 years old but at that age i didnt know what he was doing to her and he even tries to come at me sometimes thats why i always keep my door locked and blocked cause aint no telling what he will do.(Skips to morning) I woke up in the morning for school and got dressed. I walked downstairs to see my mom cooking breakfast for me.and tony sitting there watching tv. V<vanessa>: Good morning mommy. M<mom>: good morning baby your ready to eat. V<vanessa>: yes mommy. Tony: damn you not gonna say good morning to me i live here to. I just rolled my eyes at him cause he is not getting no respect from me .so my mommy handed me my breakfast and i noticed every single bruise on her face but i didn't say nothing. i was done with all my food and drunk my drank. V<vanessa>: im done. M<mom>: ok baby..ready to go to school? V<vanessa>: yea im ready to go. So my mom had dropped me off at school and went to work. So i learned all.my lessons did all my work in class. ~Skips to end of school~ so i waited for my mom to come get me and my mom car pulled up i was so happy until i seen tony my moms boyfriend. My smile went away so quick i never liked him from the start. So i just hopped in the back seat and sat quiet i didn't even say hey or nothing. T(mom boyfriend/tony): hey babygirl your mom is working late and she wanted me to pick you up from school. V<vanessa > mhmm ok. T: you know what i'm tired of your attitude and you been acting like ever since this morning you got some coming for you lil girl. I can tell he was mad and it scared me i dont what he gonna do to me since my mom work late. So he drove to the house that we live in so i hurryed in the house and ran to the bathroom and locked the door. He was yelling my name i was so scared for my life hoping someone will come and save me. So i hear him checking in rooms and closets but when got to the bathroom door i was breathing hard. He tried to open the door but it was locked and left from the door. Im thinking to myself is he gone?, can i come out now? Then i unlocked the door and i ran to my but what i didnt know was that i was trapped .....
