Chapter 19

Hey guys! What's going on? So sorry I hardly ever update! I'm just busy. I know that's a lame excuse so BOOM! Im writing this now ;)

Jerome's P.O.V.

* two days later back at Jerome's house*

I decided that I'm not going to let Mitch go back home for a while. I'm having Mat ((NoochM)) house sit for him. I don't want Mitch to go home without me there.

Right now, Mitch is cuddled up against me, we are just sitting here listening to music and cuddling. I don't want to watch a movie because he won't be able to know what's going on.

"Jerome?" Mitch asks breaking the silence. "God dang it Mitch!" I yell playfully making him jump. "You're going have to pay the medical bills! You BROKE the silence!" I laughed and so did he before he stopped and continued talking.

"How bad do I look right now?" he says is a serious way. "You look perfect " I tell him pulling him closer. "Tell me the truth. I haven't showered in days..." he mumbles.

He does look pretty messy. His hair is messy and he smells of sweat and axe. "You could use a shower." I say honestly. "I could help you. Just put on some shorts and I will lead you to the tub."

*five minutes later*

"Jerome! the water is cold!" Mitch whines. I rely with a chuckle and make the water warmer. "Better?" I ask. "Perfect." He answers with a grin.

I help with shampoo his hair and wash it out. We talk about whatever come into our heads. It's really amazing to be able to talk to him like everything is normal even though nothing is normal about this.

Suddenly, water splashes my face. Mitch figured out where I was kneeling by the tub and splashed me. Just because he is blind, it doesn't mean payback doesn't apply to him.

I scoop water in the cup I used to hold my toothbrushes and poured water all over his head. He laughs and I do too.

After I finish helping Mitch bathe, I help him out of the tub and dry him off. "Thanks" then I lead him into my room to get him some dry clothes.

Mitch's P.O.V.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice having Jerome around me all the time but I wish I wasn't so helpless. I mean really, Jerome does everything for me. I have no idea what I would do without him.

Jerome hands me some dry clothes and I make him get out so I can put them on. He offers to help but I deny it.

After awhile, I find myself sitting in a recliner in Jerome's living room. I'm under a fuzzy blanket and I'm listening to Jerome read some book to me.

I'm not really listening. My mind is on other things at the moment. For example, I have to quit making Minecraft videos an just Vlog because I can't see anything. All of the subscribers are super supportive but I just miss the feeling of being in front of that computer screen watching the graphics on the screen.

Jerome must have noticed that I'm not listening because he has gone quiet and there is a song playing now. I believe it's called Battle Scars.

"You like that song?" Jerome asks with a chuckle. "Yeah, sorry, I kind of zoned out while you were reading." I answer pulling my knees to my chest under the blanket. "That's fine. I'm sure you have a lot on your mind. Why don't we get you to bed, eh?" he says.

I don't object as he leads me up the stairs and into his room. I change into pajama pants and rip off my shirt before I climb into the warm bed next to Jerome.
