Prologue
I hold the newspaper in my hand. It dates to six weeks back and reads, "Famous Scientist, Jane Foster, Dead, Leaving New Company In Search For A Scientist."
I then picked up the other paper, on my table, dated two days ago, that read, "Help Wanted At Foster Co. A brilliant scientist, young and willing to work and learn. Would help with the experiments. Call 877-574-4219."
I pick up my phone and dial the number. It rings about twice and then someone picks up.
"Hello?" I hear a young woman's voice say.
"Hi, my name's Melody Scott, and I'm calling about your help wanted add in the paper," I say.
"Oh, hold on a second," she's says and then yells, "Eric! We got someone who answered our add! Yeah, she's on the phone now! Yup!"
"Hello?" comes a man's voice this time.
"Hi, my name's Melody Scott and I'm calling for the-"
"The help wanted add in the newspaper?" he finishes for me.
"Uh, yeah."
"That's great! Now tell me a little bit about your self."

A half an hour later I hang up the phone with a new job. It's funny that I was hired over the phone without a personal interview, but I'll ask them about that tomorrow, when I go to work.
