Scarlett's P.O.V
"You ready?" I asked my horse as I was about to start, she neighed in excitement.
After I was done my brother were next I got to go and looked around the fair, as I was walking I ran into someone, I fell backwards but I strong hand grabbed my arm keeping me up. "Sorry I didn't mea...." he cut me off before I could finish, "No it was my fault." he said as he let go of my arm, "No I wasn't watching where I was going." I said as I looked up to his face which was very handsome, he's bright blue eyes and dark brown hair, which suited him. "Um.... my name is Jackson." he said putting his hand out to me. "My name is Scarlet." I said as I starred into his bright eyes. "Are you from round here?" I asked as I notice he was also starring at me. "Yeah, I live not to far from town. What about you?" he said, "Yes, do you know of the Asher's farm?" I asked as we stared waking to the fairgrounds together. We have a lot in common, "Hey do you have a phone?" He asked, "Yeah, do you?" I asked as I munched on my popcorn. "Yeah." he said stealing a piece, I laughed and said "Let me see you phone." I said holding my hand out, he hand it to me. "Go you want the go on the rides with me?" he asked, "Yeah sure, sound fun." I said as he grabbed my hand and we started to run to the rides. Called us children but it was fun, the last one we when on was the haunted house, "You ready?"he asked me,
"Of course." I said as we walked in the talk about cheesy, the only scary thing in there was the dude who grabbed your ankle.
"Well that was cheesy but fun." he said laughing, "You want to get a milkshake?" I asked as we walks toward the food strands.
"Yeah, sure but you know I'm going to be hyped out later." he said laughing.
"Let's go." I said grabbing he's hand and running.
"Hello how can I help you?" The food stand person asked, "Two milkshakes please." I said and gave him two dollars and walked to the nearest table. a few minutes later we'er drinking our milkshakes. After that we went to the Big Wheel as it was called, we got on I was get bored so I started to hum Ol'Red by Blake Shelton. Then I start to hear Jackson singing along. "You know that song?" I asked,
"Duh, it's my favorite song." he said, I didn't notice how close we were together, until he put his arm on the back if my chair. He's so cheesy but I like it. "Um...so do you compete?" I asked looking to face him.
"Yeah I'm a bull rider. You?" he asked
"Barrel racer." I said proudly,
He looked at me and I looked at him and I saw it coming but I didn't do anything about it, he leaned forward our faces were inches apart, right as he was about to kiss me, I heard someone yelled, "What so you think your doing?" I turned to see my brother Tucker sitting behind me Ruth a girl i didn't know. I blushed and said nothing.
I looked back at him and he looked sad, not about the kiss but about something else.
