AN: Yay! Another update and yet it took me weeks updating this fic. Thank god I manage to finish it before the valentines end though I only have 3 minutes before it ends XD. I'm really sorry I'm just really busy. I'm not as free as before. Anyways, I'm really happy that I'm still getting reviews and there still actually reading this fic even though its been a really long time since I stop writing. I so love you guys for liking this very first fic of mine. I hope to be able to finish this fic this time :)). Let's all hope for the best XD

Chapter 26: Missed It

"Oy stop banging already, they won't open it anyway." Raku said seemingly tired for telling her to stop for the nth time already.

And being stubborn as she already is, Chitoge didn't listen to him at all. She didn't stop at all, not even a single, banging frantically with face like a girl trapped in a superb haunted house she doesn't want to be in, though for her being trapped inside a room with only Raku is far more scarier than that because being with him means only one thing: and that is for her to confess herself. Unfortunately, she knows that she won't be able to escape anymore even if she try everything to escape from reality itself. Nonethless a part of her wants to finish the issue and confess everything once and for all.

Seeing that Chitoge won't move an inch to the door, Raku decided to step forward to approached her. However, the moment Chitoge heard a foot step, that's when she stopped banging the door. And that sudden stop confused everyone outside and start wondering what's happening inside now.

And so, as Chitoge stopped the banging she looked back at Raku with an eyes like she really was scared. She step to the right side and run to the other door and said, "Don't come any closer."

Raku sweat drop, he feels exhausted for some reason although they didn't start any conversation yet. With her acting that way, he sarcastically asked her, "Do I have some contagious illness or something now?"

Raku sighed and without wavering he continued to walk towards where Chitoge is even though she kept on distancing herself. Realizing this won't make any progress for them, Raku decided to stop approaching her and accept the fact that he have no choice but to talk to her in distance. Yeah. In distance. Since Chitoge was already back to where she was standing earlier while Raku stopped near the window.

"Okay I won't come any closer but at least let's talk, okay." Raku said as he raised both of his arms in defeat.

Hearing those words from Raku calmed Chitoge a little. Yes it calmed her because she still doesn't know how her body will react if he touches her. At least he won't come any close. Okay I'll talk. Chitoge thought still holding onto the doorknob just in case he move to get close to her. She simply took glimpsed to Raku and seeing him in defeat made her lips form a small smile. He really never win against her stubborness. Yet she certainly know that when it comes to his determination she will also never win against him. Although she is not hundred percent ready to face what's in front of her, she is now willing to cooperate and take risk in this situation since she doesn't want to get one more slapped from Onodera, and because of the fact that she can't get out of the room because of her classmates. Remembering that scene made Chitoge lauged and that caught Raku's attention. She can't still believe that she will experience something like that from a very timid, kind, and soft person. And that really made her wake from her stupid action. She has been only doing whatever she thinks she thought would be good for them. But thanks to Onodera she realized that what she has been doing was only for herself. I really am selfish. And realizing that drag her now in this situation with the beansprout who was about to ask her what's going on with her but didn't manage to when she shifted her gaze to him with her annoyed look.
