I followed Josh into the doctors office and he looked at me. He set me on the little bed thing and I grabbed his hand. "I love you." I said.
"Love you too." He mumbled. He was nervous. I've never seen him like this, never vulnerable. But I didn't mind. I rubbed circles into his hand and kissed it.
"Tyler! Josh!" Austin said. I smiled at him and Josh nodded in acknowledgment. "Well, we reran your test in a different machine. You're clean."
"Can I get tested too?" I asked.
"Course. Let me get a blood sample. And Josh, if you want to redo yours again, I understand."
"Yeah. Just to make sure."
He did preparation things and drew our blood. Ten minutes later he came back with condoms and lube. He threw them at us. "You're clean. Have fun having sex. We also do free pregnancy tests."
"I'm a boy."
"Anything can happen." Josh laughed and smiled at me. I pecked his lips and smiled back.
"Love you."
"Love you too."
"Be safe. No sex in here either. Have a good day."
Josh and I laughed. I'm glad he's okay
