SPECIAL CHAPTER IV

Nanlalamig at nanginginig ang mga kamay ko. Kabadong kabado ako. Iba talaga iyong epekto niya sa akin kahit noon pa, mas grabe nga lang ngayon. "Let's eat. We will talk later and we have enough time to talk. We can have forever talking if you want to. You know!" Natatawang sabi niya. Natuyo bigla iyong lalamunan ko.

"You have a lot of explanation to do, you know!" Pang aasar ko sakanya. "I thought you forgot! You didn't communicate with me for days. I know we have to eat but we can eat while we're talking. I have a lot of questions to ask, might as well I will start asking now?" Hindi siya sumasagot kaya nagpatuloy ako. "When did you arrive?"

"6 days ago." -Alex

"You told me, you'll call me so I can pick you up at the airport when you arrive." -Me

"That was my original plan, but then I remember your birthday so I changed my mind, instead I'll surprise you and just to see you today." -Alex

"6 days ago, and you only showed up today? What did you do this past days?" -Me

"When I arrived, I was really busy, I have to fix all my requirements on my new job. Ah! By the way I got a new job here." Masayang balita niya. Natuwa ako pero hindi ko pinahalata, marami pa akong katanungan. "I looked for a place to stay and luckily I found a room for rent same building of yours. I'm on the 8th floor." Nakangising sabi niya. Same buildinh kami pero ni hindi man lang nag krus ang landas namin. Magaling talaga siyang magtago.  "I stalked your facebook, I'm looking for your close friends to talk to them to help me on this party of yours. We were then busy preparing for this, we have to look for a venue, for the foods to be serve and eveything you're seeing around." Inikot ko ang tingin sa buong paligid. Gumastos siya para dito. Loko loko talaga.

Napangiti nalang ako sakanya. Wala na akong gustong malaman. Iyong pagtatampo ko para sa mga nakaraang araw nawala na lahat. Dito na siya magtratrabaho! "And you said what? You got a new job?" Tumago siya bilang sagot. "So that means?"

"I'll be staying here, for good. I think." What the! Is this for real? Makakasama ko siya ng mas matagal. "To be honest, I want to be with you that's why I gave up my career in Korea to come here, good thing was our company in Korea have a branch here so I asked them if they can relocate me here." Isa pang wow! I'll be seeing him often.

"And your family? What's teir opinion about you coming here?" Alam kong ayaw sa akin ng nanay niya. Nasabi kaya niyang magkikita kami.

"Nothing to worry about them. They knows everything. Like, they know that you are here and you are the reason why I'm here. Simple as that. No more questioning about them." Iniiwas niya ang usapin tungkol sa pamilya niya. Malamang ayaw pa rin nilang magkaroon ng ugnayan si Alex sa hindi nila kalahi. So maybe I have to stay on the safe side, friend zone.

"Okay!" Iyon nalang ang nasabi ko dahil ayoko na ring humaba ang usapan tungkol doon. I want to be happy even only for tonight. Bukas ko nalang ulit iisipin iyong mga bagay na nakakasakit.

"Are you okay?" Bigla siyang tumigil sa pagkain at pinakatitigan ako. "I know what you're thinking. Please don't mind my family. I can make my own decision now Xi. Eventually they'll accept what I want, you'll see. Let's finish the food so we can have party after this." I really hope so.

"Wait! Have you forgotten how to speak tagalog? My nose will bleed soon. I'm running out of words. You know!" Dalawang taon lang mahigit siyang nag stay sa Korea posible kayang nakalimutan niya ng magtagalog, eh ang tagal naman niyang nag stay sa Pinas.

Tumawa siya. "Syempre NO. I have a filipino friends in Korea. Kaya nakakapagtagalog pa ako and I'm still communicating with my filipino friends in the Philippines." So may ganun pala siyang eksena. Nakikipag communicate siya sakanila sa akin hindi! Napatango tango lang ako. "Alam kong iniisip mong bakit ako tumigil mag message sayo before. You unfriend me on facebook. I was waiting for you to add me again, kaso ang tagal na panahon na pero wala pa rin. Nagtampo ako, it's true. But maybe it's the good thing to do also. We have both time to think things between us and you know what, I realized that I still like you. I really do." Natameme ako. Pinoproseso palang ng utak ko lahat ng sinabi niya.

"You like me? As in! You like me talaga?" Hindi ako makapaniwala. We're feeling the same way. Pero hindi muna ako aamin.

"Think Xi. I'll not waste my time coming here just to be with you. You're special ever since and I think I........" Hindi niya na naituloy iyong dapat niyang sabihin dahil biglang sumulpot si Zane sa tabi ko.

"Hoy! Ano ba kayong dalawa! Ang tagal niyong kumain. Tapos na kaming lahat. Come on lets go! Let's party party!" Nagsisigaw si Zane habang sumasayaw. Hindi ko napansin kanina na may malapit lang palang bar counter sa amin. Nagsimulang lumakas na rin ang music at nagsimula na ring mag inuman ang mga katrabaho ko.

Tumayo si Alex and he held my hand. "Come on Hon, let's enjoy the night!" Gusto ko pa sanang tanungin kung ano dapat iyong sasabihin niya pero hinila niya na ako patayo and started to dance. May lumapit na waiter, kumuha si Alex ng dalawang baso ng alak and he gave me one. "Come on Xia! Enjoy! This your day!" Then I smiled. Ininom ko din ang cocktail drink na bigay niya sa akin. Yes! I will really enjoy this night coz finally he's here beside me. Sa susunod ko nalang siya tatanungin kung ano ba dapat iyong sasabihin niya kanina. Malay ko bang I love you na pala iyon. Sayang.

We're enjoying, we're dancing with the party music when the DJ changed to sweet music. "Hon, Can I?" Asked Alex. Then he put my both hand on his neck paikot and he held me on my waist. Ang lapit lapit niya, ang bilis bilis ng tibok ng puso ko. Hindi ko makayanang titigan siya sa mata kaya sinandal ko iyong ulo ko sa dibdib niya. I can hear his heart beat, sing bilis ng akin. Then I felf he kissed me on my head.

I hugged him tight and closed my eyes. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam. Ayaw ko ng bumitiw. I really missed him.
