"Who's gonna wake her up?" A whisper sounded.

"I'm not doing it." An other voice replied.

Lucile?

"Why not?"

"Because when she's tired, she's ruthless. I tried waking her up once and she punched me."

Yeah, definitely her.

"Really? I couldn't imagine her doing that, she's kinda like a teddy bear." I'm guessing that one was Connor.

"A teddy bear who kills walkers?"

"You got a point there."

"I'm still not waking her up."

"Fine I'll do it.
Elliot? Are you awake?"

"Obviously she's not awake you moron!"  Was that Kayden?

"Shh! You'll wake her up!"

"That's kind of the point! You know what-
ELLIOT GET UP!" Definitely Kayden.

Asshole.

"What!" I growl, my eyes still closed.

"Get up, we're leaving in 5." He snaps before his foot steps fade away.

What the hell was his problem?

"What time is it?" I ask groggily.

"Just past noon." Connor replied.

"What?!" I shoot up. "I thought we were leaving at 8?"

"We were supposed to, but Kayden said you didn't sleep until like 6 last night so you needed some rest." Jaimie replied.

Has she been here the whole time?

"So, let me get this straight. Kayden let me sleep late, then got pissed because I was still sleeping when he decided he wanted to go?"

"I don't think he was specifically annoyed at you."

"Then what was he pissed at?"

"I don't know, the world? I mean, even though he doesn't show it, he's still upset about his family. He projects his emotions onto other people. Basically if he's upset, he'd snap at anyone who looked at his direction." Connor explained.

"Well, there are millions of walkers he can take his anger out on instead of bitching at me." I huff, getting my things ready.

10 minutes later, we're all walking towards the truck.

"Where are we going exactly?" Connor asks.

"To your baby." I smirk.

He rolls his eyes. "Seriously, where are we gonna go? You said we were heading towards your sister right? Well, where is she exactly?"

"Well, the letter said they were heading for Washington-"

"That's like 1,000 miles!" Jaimie complains.

"Actually it's 2,302." Kayden informs.

We all stare at him in astonishment as he raises his eyebrows. "What?" He snaps.
