Chapter 22: The Exam

Wendy POV 

I set foot on the school campus until someone puts their arm around my shoulder. "Hey Wan-ah!"

I turn around and see a smiling Seulgi, "Hey. Why are you so happy?"

"What do you mean? I'm always happy" She said

We kept walking until we heard fighting from Yeri and Jungkook. "I told you! To not do that!"

Finally they caught up with us and I saw Yeri ah punching Jungkook on his arm. Playfully...? Or... Maybe she looks like she punches aggressively? 

"What happened?" I asked

"I just was talking to a few girls--" Jungkook said

"Oh my--" Seulgi said 

"Aniyo! I was just talking to them for my group project. And she comes a long and pulls me away when I'm trying to get the project ideas done" Jungkook says

We finally finished the test and I'm exhausted! Teacher Yang told us that she'll post the results on the wall afterschool.

My stomach growled, which meant that I'm hungry. I then thought, "Stomach... Please bare with me until the end of class~~"

I walked in class, my composing class I should say. I walked over to my desk which Suga sit right next to me. Although we are close, I still don't believe why the teacher will place me right next to him. Could the teacher just placed me next to Namjoon so we can just speak to each other in English for the whole class period? Is that too much to ask? 

I sat down at my desk and turned to Suga and just sighed. This guy has a messed up sleep schedule. Class was about to start and I turn to Suga. "Yoongi! Class is going to start" I whispered to him

He grumbled, "I don't need to listen, I know what I'm doing. I still don't understand why I'm in this class, I can teach the class better than the teacher" he then went back to sleep.

While the teacher was teaching I spaced out and Namjoon, who is sitting next to me snaps me out of spacing out. He then spoke in English, "Wendy! Earth to Wendy!" He whispered

I snapped out and answered back in English. "Oh! Where am I?? Gosh damn, I'm still in this class??"

"Of course, class just started" Namjoon spoke in English

It's finally lunch! I got out of my seat. "Ready to go to lunch Namjoon?"

He looked at me, "Uhh... Suga?" He then points to the sleeping Suga.

"Fu--" I said, I turn around. "Yah Min Yoongi! Get up!" I then wacked him on his back of his head

"Aish!!" He said

"Hurry up, I'm hungry" I said

Then all three of us, me, Namjoon, and Suga walked into the canteen. After, we got our foods and sat down where the others are. "Hey Seul"

"Ne?" Seulgi said

"You want my banana milk?" I asked, practically giving her my banana milk

"Waeyo? You don't want it?" She asks

"Aniyo. I just don't want to drink it. You can have it" I said, passing her the milk towards her

"Komawo" She said

Afterschool...

Me, Irene, Yeri, and Seulgi walked through the corridor. Once we turned the corner, we saw a crowd huddling together.

"What's this?" Irene asks

"Oh, it's the exam results" I said

We got closer to the crowd. Once we got there, the crowd then disbanded and each student walked away. Hmm... Where's my name...

"Unnie! You got second place!" Yeri said, while shaking me

I was shocked and in disbelief, I then stuttered. "Wh--what?? M--meee...?"

"Yeah! Good job Wan-ah!" Seulgi and Irene said

"What place did you guys get?" I asked

"I got third place" Irene said

"And I got fourth" Seulgi said

Later we walked out of school and saw the guys waiting for us by the school gate. "Did you guys see your scores?" 

"Yeah" Hoseok said

"But... Guess who got first place?!?!" Namjoon said, he then waited for someone to say 'who?' But no one said it.

"I did! My learning paided off!!" He says

"WHaT?? You got first?" I said, "How?? I got second! How's this possible?" My eyes widen open.

"I don't know" Namjoon shrugged

"Like we said, Namjoon Hyung is the smartest out of seven of us" Jimin said
