Flexing You to the world

Year book spines and 4 years of living
(tolerating) your wild smile, nights heathen
and spent on the back of a mandolin
Polaroid mementos, eight thousand miles

Felt like driving away from home, hundreds of times
but you still kept me coming back
when I want to hurt a known face
the countenance twists into obscure peace-
a swole arm and and frame of a goddess

Like silverware plates on a perfect table
of two, to be sat together into the finest set
pure light. Demure in the most appropriate places
calling me daddy, on black stilettos and soiled
blue embroidered dress - I imagine it's like standing

on jagged rocks dancing underfoot and avoiding
the heat of my corduroy coat
wind blows our mortality out through our window

how do I describe this?
This is normal, a face of destiny, an eternity of you and Me
elocutionary, a demanding motion with both
our best bodies moving forward, our worst on our backs
Taking space in the ocean, sworn answer
and take our own wedding pics forced defined,

an agreement that will last until our souls depart.
