Demigods at Hogwarts

Chapter 2~ WE'RE GOING TO HOGWARTS!

A/N We are not British, so sorry if it doesn't sound like how they would talk.

Percy's POV

I threw the last of my clothes into my bag and headed towards Thalia's tree. Chiron said we were leaving today and I just couldn't bring myself to say goodbye to Annabeth. I knew that if I saw her, I wouldn't be able to leave.

"Stop pouting and put on your big boy pants," Thalia said, coming over to where I sat beneath the tree. The worry in my eyes must have shown on my face because she said, more gentle this time, "She'll be fine, Annabeth can handle herself." " I know but since you-know-where we haven't been more than 10 feet apart." "Annabeth's going to be pissed," Nico said stepping out of the shadows, "You sure you don't want to see her before we leave?" "Yes" I said "If I have to say goodbye, I don't think I'll be able to leave." "We get it Percy" Thalia said, placing her hand on my shoulder reassuringly.

"Children, are you ready to leave?" Chiron said approaching us with Blackjack and 2 other Pegasi at his side. I nodded sadly and got up from my sitting position by the tree. "Do we have to go on the Pegasi?" Nico whined and Thalia nodded. "Yes, now, here is the list of what you have to get at Diagon Ally. When you arrive, you will not be in Diagon Ally. There will be an old friend of mine, Albus Dumbledore, who will be waiting for you to bring you to Diagon Ally. Good luck and come back safely," Chiron said handing us a piece of paper with very neat Greek writing on it. Thank the gods! Now I don't have to ask Frank to read it! I looked at the paper and it had our school list:

Seventh year students will need:
•1 Wand
• 1 Cauldron (Pewter, Standard Size)
• 1 set of glass or crystal phials
• 1 set of school robes, 1 set of dress robes
• 1 set of brass scales
• Students may also bring an Owl OR A Toad OR A Cat.
• The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 7 by Miranda Goshawk

"Bye!" I said climbing onto Blackjack while Thalia and Nico climbed onto the other Pegasi, "Thank you Chiron!" We rode off into the sunset while Thalia and Nico were blabbing about Hogwarts and I was thinking sadly about Annabeth.....

Harry POV

I was staying at the Burrow the summer after we- I, defeated Voldemort. Ron, Fred, George, and I were playing Quidditch in the backyard when I saw Hedwig and 2 other owls swoop into the yard with pieces of paper tied to their legs. Ron and I hopped off of the brooms and ran to the owls. Hedwig flew to me and I untied the letter from her leg. "Ron, they're from Hogwarts," I said ripping open the envelope. It read:

Dear Harry James Potter,
Due to the unfortunate events in last year's school year, we would like to invite you back to Hogwarts to re-do your seventh year. Please have your owls in no later than August 1. Thank you.
-Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

"Blimey Ron! We're going back to Hogwarts!" I said excitedly. Ron looked at me with a giant smile on his face, "I wonder if Hermione is going back!" "I bet you she will," I said. "Mum! Mum! Look what we got in the mail!" Ron said enthusiastically running into the kitchen. "Oh that's brilliant Ron! You ought to go back," Mrs. Weasley said. "I'm definitely going back!" Ron said and looked back at me, "What about you Harry?" I nodded and smiled. He jumped up and down with a giant smile on his face, "WE'RE GOING TO HOGWARTS! WE'RE GOING TO HOGWARTS!" I couldn't help myself when a smile grew across my face as day turned into night.
