CHAPTER 6

"Skye." Marshall said through the earpiece attached to his ear. 

My earpiece on top of the counter beep and blink twice.

He is just standing beside the open slide glass door between the wall and I am at the kitchen.

 We just came back to our floor after the meeting with Ryder, carrying the box that he gave us. Inside the box is the earpiece that Marshall is testing, cellphone and a watch.

"Stop that Marshall." I told him with the Pizza we ordered for lunch. Healthy, right? I already forgot when the last time I ate Pizza, so this is only a prize for everything I've been.

"How about this cellphone? Lets try this." He came closer now and grab his third Pizza and browse his new cellphone.

"It's just like the other cellphone man, nothing special." Zuma said with a mouth full of the food.

Zuma is the IT expert of the group, so I think upon receiving all the gadget he already checked it.

"But you try the watch, It's cool." He murmur and cough.

Rubble patted his back. "Don't give to much data man, a single data can cause Marshall's head
 a damage, and a choke to you."

We all laugh at what Rubble said.

"You don't want to eat chase?"Rocky asked suddenly.

Chase is sitting at the couch and looking at his cellphone. He already wears the wristwatch and the earpiece is at his ear. He lift his head and look at Rocky. "just leave me two slices and I'm good. I'll eat that later."

Rocky nod and separate two slices of Pizza. "Okay, this is for him." he mumble.

We all back in talking and the boys teasing Marshall when the doorbell ring.

"I got this." Chase said and stand to open the door.

We all look who's at the door and see Chase tensed up when he open it.

"Hi!" A lively voice sounds and Chase step aside so the visitor came into view.

It is, indeed, the most beautiful girl I saw yesterday.

Everest.

All the boys beside me jump to their seat and make a move towards the door. I just roll my eyes and smile on what they've done and stay on my seat. Maybe, I can welcome her when everybody are done.

They all pulled Everest inside the room and make her seat to the couch.

"Do you want a drink, juice, tea, coffee or soda?" Marshall offered.

"We have Pizza and Burger." Rocky said.

"We don't have burger Man." Zuma told Rocky. Rocky just Shrugged.

"But we have bread and cheese, I can make you burger." Rubble encourage.

The view I am enjoying looking at closed when Chase stand in front of me and grab his Pizza.

"You don't like to join them?" I asked him.

He seat one of the chair and shrugged. "I am starving. I need to eat." He just answered and lean his left arm on the counter while holding his pizza on the other hand and taking a bite.

I swallow the ball on my throat. How come somebody can be sexy just eating a pizza in front of me?

"Are you done?" He asked when he saw I didn't take another food.
