Once, there were four magical beings. They all had different magical powers. Air, Fire, Earth, and Ice. Each of them were enemies with each other. But the two main rivalries between them were Air against Earth, and Fire against Ice.
Their names, I won't say yet. They battled for who would be the ruler of the land they found. The ones who controlled fire and ice were starting to win, as their powers did more damage. As the battle went on, more and more people died, and a wise man said, "Why don't you just divide the land? Then you can all rule."
As the four magical beings thought this was a great idea, they split the land into the four kingdoms we now have today: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. The being who controlled air got the east end of the land, creating the kingdom of Spring. The one who controlled fire got the south of the land, also known as the kingdom of Summer. The one who controlled earth got the west side of the land, making the Autumn kingdom. And finally, the one who controlled ice got the north part of the land, becoming the Winter kingdom.
Each of the four magical beings had a daughter, on the exact same day, at the exact same time. They were each unaware of the exact same thing happening at each of the other kingdoms.
They named their daughters after their kingdoms. They sent the girls to earth, hoping the other magical beings wouldn't hurt them, and hoping their daughters would one day come back, to replace them as rulers and guardians of their own kingdoms.
As the girls started growing up, they had no memory of the kingdoms they were born in, or anything about their birth. The magical beings happened to send their girls to the exact same town, Galaxia.
Then, tragedy struck. Each of the magical beings got really sick, and ended up dying. The kingdoms each blamed another for this catastrophe. Spring and Autumn blamed each other, while Summer and Winter blamed each other.
The four kingdoms fell into disaster. But sadly, this is only the beginning of an awakening of an ancient evil...
