"Wow you have been busy huh?" I say sipping my tea,
"Yea, a one thousand dollar delivery for just a family of four. But they seemed to need those five healing potions, I delivered them to the hospital. Turns out their daughter had cancer, but shes doing great now!" Lucinda says,
"I'm glad to hear that! Do you get a lot of calls dealing with hospitals?" I ask,
"Yea, I get a lot of stupid calls as well. I don't allow love potions unless every person that the potion is gonna be used on has consent. But I usually make exceptions for short lasting ones, like one to two minutes. Anyway how have you been doing?"
"Great! There is a lot of troubles at work but overall I'm great! I got a raise, so did KC. I got into a new anime, it's called flip flapper. Katelyn and I pranked KC with a shipping shrine of her and Garroth. And I'm just doing not too shabby!" I cheer,
"That's great Aphmau! Im assuming Celestia is doing great as well?" She says, i look down to see Celest bouncing on her back legs at Lucinda.
"Yea." I look at the watch in my wrist, "OH CRAP ITS EIGHT THRTY! Lucinda I got to go I'm sorry I'll come back later bye!" I burst out the door, Celestia runs after me.

I sit beside my bed, Lucinda takes a look at her.
"She's definitely not your average injured child, but she'll be okay. We can just wait until she wakes up. We'll ask her questions and such." She says, I open my cabinet.
"In that case, I'll make some tea."

Lucinda and I talk until we hear some grumbling. Lilith hasn't woken up yet so it has to be the little girl.
"W-where am I?" I hear little voice, I kneel next to my bed.
"Hello. I'm lord Aphmau, what's your name?" I ask,
"Aurelie.... what am I doing here?! Where even am I?!" She jumps up,
"Shhh, relax. Your are in my house, we found you in the woods. Injured. Could you tell me what happened?" I ask, she looks behind me at Lucinda.
"Who is she? Will she tell?" She panics again,
"That is my friend Lucinda, she is very sweet. She helped you feel better, she won't do anything to hurt you! I promise. Could you tell us what happened?"
".....My mommy and daddy fought a lot. It usually was about me, my dad hated me. He called me mean names. My mommy argued with him, she loved me with all her heart. But mommy got sick. Daddy wouldn't let me eat. Or let me sleep inside. So I snuck onto a boat.... And I swam to an island that was close by.... that's all I remember.." she says,
"Where did you live before you snuck on the boat?" Lucinda asks,
"You won't take me back! Please don't take me back!"
"We won't Aurelie. We just want to know." I say,
"...promise?" She asks,
"I promise!"
"Mmmmmmm... meteli...." she whispers,
"Hmm... So why did you swim to this island?" Lucinda asks,
"Because I heard the captain saying the path to tu'la. At first I thought it would be better... but I saw the island and I, felt disconnected from myself. I clutched my necklace and swam, tho I lost it at the shore... I think." She says,
"Okay sweetie. Here, would you like something to eat? You must be starving." Lucinda sets some tea and a salad tray on her lap, "Aphmau, a word?" I nod and follow her out the door.

"Aphmau, this story is a bit off beat..." Lucinda says,
"Lucinda she's a child, 9? 8? Maybe even six, who knows?"
"Yea but that's not the case. Tu'la is the complete opposite way, boats don't just 'pass by' this island without coming here, how would she know how to swim at least 60 meters to the shore if she was six? Most children don't even consider learning to swim until ten. Heck if her father never let her out of his property! Maybe I can go talk to Cadenza about this."
"....Okay, maybe we should ask more questions and see what she says. But you haveta admit, her hair is matted up and burned, her hair goes from maroon to black, she's pale and covered in bruises. And maybe she's thirteen and the lack of nutrition stunted her growth. Something happened to her. But yes, her story is a bit suspicious...." I turn around and walk back in, Aurelie's tray is completely empty.
"Was that good?" I ask sitting on the bed next to her.

I rush back to work from lunch,
"God why am I so late today!?! Maybe I should start eating lunch at the cafe!" I panic as I enter the employees room. I rip off my sweatshirt and rush back to the kitchen.
"Okay!" I exhale, got back just in time! I wait at the counter for customers. After two minutes, two girls walk to the counter.
"Hello I'm Aphmau, how could I help you?" I smile,
"Hello, could I have a raspberry Nutella croissant? And she'll have a banana blueberry smoothie. To go." One girl says,
"Okay! Your number 64!" I hand her the receipt with her number on it.

It's finally 6:30, i throw sweat pants and a sweat shirt over my maid outfit and buy myself a pastry and an iced tea while I wait for KC. I see her text on her phone while she walks out of the break room.
"Who ya texting?" I ask,
"Garroth~sen-... Garroth~San." KC stutters,
"You so like him! Just admit it!" I tease her,
"Admit you want to have children with Aaron!" KC snaps back playfully. I know she was joking and proving a point, But I feel something tear in my chest, but I plaster on a fake smile and laugh.

"KC you should try this iced peach mango tea! It's amazing!" I say,
"I know, you told me that so many times! You got it a lot, but just stopped. Now you got it again out of nowhere!" She says,
"I guess I just forgot about it?" I say,
"Yea maybe... Hey Aphmau~senpai? Would you like to bake cookies with Kawaii~chan when we get home?"
"Yawwwwwwwwwwsssss!"
"YAAAAY! Come on let's get home!" I run after KC.
