You finally called. After weeks of not hearing your voice, you finally dared to call me. Your raspy voice could be heard through the phone— i almost burst into tears. You asked me how i've been and i lied.

"I've been lost." You whispered.

I stayed silent, not knowing what to answer. I could hear your heavy breaths on the phone and i swear to God, Jeonghan, i suddenly felt your warmth. Even though you weren't there, i could feel your warmth on my skin.

"My compass was broken and i was stupid for leaving it because i thought it couldn't work anymore. I was the one who broke it. I'm sorry."

I knew what he meant. I knew exactly what he meant. When he said sorry that time, i knew what he was sorry for. I watched as the clock ticking away the time even though i felt as if time was frozen.

"You don't want to fix it?"

You chose to stay stranded rather than fixing your compass.

"I'm sorry."

I knew what he was sorry for.
