Runaway Bug

Chapter 2

~Marinette's POV~

Everyone at the photo shoot started hiding or running to somewhere safe, while me, well i went find a place so i could transform into Ladybug.

"Tikki! Spots on!" I said giving her a confident smile.

A pink flashlight happened and i was Ladybug, ready for action.

I started to look for Chatnoir but he wasn't there at all. I looked up to see the Akumatized villain, It was some kind of a big lizard. I got scared, facing a giant lizard would be a challenge for me. I really needed my partner right now.

"Hey m'lady!" said the black cat leaping over to me.

"Chat! So glad you're here." I said giving him a smile.

His cheeks burned as I said those words.

"So... Who's the new villain?" He said while looking at the giant monster.

"Well, a giant lizard... I still can't figure out where the akuma is."

"I'll give it a closer look." Chat looked at me, gave me a wink and leaped off to face the lizard.

"Wait Chat...! Ugh, he never thinks before he leaps." I said putting my hand on my forehead.

I then followed Chat to see where the Akuma was. When suddenly Chat was thrown by the lizard onto a wall.

"CHAT! Are you ok?!" I said reaching him

"Yeah... Oh and the Akuma is on his necklace!"
He said pointing to the neck of the lizard.

"Great! Good job kitty!" You rest here a bit, I'll go get the Akuma!" I said while leaping off, all i could hear was Chat saying be careful.

I reached to the lizard and standed in front of it.

"Hey lizard! Want a slice of this bug?" The lizard immediately nodded. "Then come and get me!"

I started to run, I looked back, the creature was right behind me. I then threw my yo-yo on a tree branch and leaped to the back of the creature. The creature then realized I was behind him and started shaking, the shaking was so big i couldn't handle it so i fell down onto the floor.

"Argh, this won't work." I said muttering.

I threw my yo-yo in the sky. "Lucky Charm!"

"A stick? What am i going to do with this?"

I then started to search and look for any ideas. It was when i saw a rope and a bakery. I got the rope, tied it up with the stick, got something sweet on the bakery and putted it at the end of the rope.

"Bingo!" I said while looking at my work. "Hey lizard, its the bug again!" The lizard got angry and started running after me. I started to run as well. I did the same thing, i threw my yo-yo on a tree branch and swung myself to the top of the creature. This time he didnt shake, i gave him the stick with the sweet on it and he sat down eating it happily. It was my chance to grab de necklace.

I crushed the necklace and a black butterfly came out of it. I slid my finger on my yo-yo among two parts and threw it on the butterfly.

"I'll free you from evil!" I said while getting the butterfly and reaching my yo-yo.

"Bye bye little butterfly!" I said while watching the butterfly fly onto the distance.

I threw my lucky charm in the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!" A group of small ladybugs started to clean all the damage the akuma made.

I immediately turned myself to Chat and started to run towards him.

"Chat!!" I screamed while reaching him, he was still on the floor.

"Chat is everything ok...?" I said while siting on the floor next to the poor kitty.

"I'm fine..." He said groaning.

"Are you su-" It was when i saw the amount of blood in his chest.

"You are not okay! Please le-" I was about to help him when earrings started to beep. I couldnt let him see who I am.

"Chat... I'm sorry I need to go" I said giving him a hug on the floor and leaving him alone.

I started to run roof by roof still thinking about my partner... I was scared. Would something happen to him?

I got home and de-transformed.

Tikki immediately noticed my stress

"Marinette what happened? Aren't you going back to the photo shoot?"

"No Tikki, I think Adrien left... but thats not to important right now! I left Chat alone and he's bleeding so much! I'm scared Tikki what if something happens to Chat?..." I said almost crying.

"Don't be like that Mari... Everything will be fine, trust me." Tikki's confident smile gave me security.

I went down stairs to the bakery and got some fresh cookies for Tikki. When I got back I heard a noise coming from the roof. I gave Tikki the cookies and ran of to see what was it. I then looked up and saw...
