The large boat was sailing perfectly smooth over the still sea, the passengers all rich and some famous. Though in the mix of these people, two girls, at the age of thirteen were tagging along, unwanted, but unnoticed. What the passengers didn't  know, is that in precisely an hour, those girls were going to rob the ship.

"Ally?" Maya hissed into her phone, crouching behind a long lounge chair.

"Yeah," a voice finally buzzed from the other end.

"They're docking soon, we have to be off before then."

"Gotcha, but first get some food. Dumpster pie is not cutting it for me anymore."

"We don't always get our food from the dumpster,"

"Ya, when we don't, we have to steal it. Either get some food, or snag some change from these folks, they're loaded!"

"Ok," Maya muttered, her face well hidden under her fancy-person disguise of sunglasses, a floppy hat, feather scarf, and a light yellow dress with a satin bow that she had borrowed from the closets of the luxury ship rooms.

Slowly standing, she tucked her phone onto her pocket and headed to a butler holding a platter of crackers and other luxuries that you don't find in the dump as and orphaned kid. Biting into a strawberry dipped in creamy white chocolate fondue, topped with a dainty paisley leaf, she surveyed her surroundings. Almost everyone here was an adult. Yikes.

When the butler wasn't looking, she stuffed three strawberries into her fancy purse (also stolen.) After adding some crackers and even little unopened  cups of humus to the bag (humus being a huge treat), she decided to buy Ally some time.

She strutted to a tall chair and pulled herself up into it.

"Darling, don't you just love the view from here? Why the butler looks finer than a baby boy in a birthday suit!" Maya exclaimed to the lady next to her who was wearing a pink velvet hat with huge plume feathers flopping from it.

The lady turned her head slowly, giving her a why-is-this-person-speaking-to-me look. Realizing immediately that birthday suit was the wrong description, she adjusted her voice to the adult's regal accent.

"What I meant was, well, it is quite a um, pleasant morn don't you agree sugar?"

"Sugar?" the lady questioned, seemingly offended. "Might I ask how old you are?"

"Mmmmmm...thirty two..."

The lady tipped her chin up, " You look a bit young,"

"Why thank you darling! You see, we might not always look our age, but in my case, I look amazingly young, don't I?"

The lady, who apparently had a Chihuahua in her purse the whole time, pulled it out and set it on her lap. The poor animal was wearing a bright pink bow, a poofy boa, and little doggy shoes that looked as though they were killing its feet softly. "Well, most here don't talk about themselves so highly, though I myself at least have something to brag about," the lady retorted. "What is your name you animal?"

"Shouldn't you know your pooch's name-" Maya begin in her adult voice.

"I was talking to you!"

"While I'll be, its Margaret. Margaret Calimoreatoshiepronoriala,  not a pleasure to meet you,"

The lady growled in the back of her throat, and her poor dog crawled back into the purse.

Maya's phone rang suddenly. "Why excuse me , I must take this, its from the fam... and they're calling from my studio in... Paris,"
