It was quite unfortunate that Irene could no longer participate in ISAC since she injured her leg during practice (Irene cried a lot and she felt so bad.)

She quickened her walking pace as she walked past Jimin who seemed to have purposely bumped into her, causing her to look back at him once she found a spot to stand with the others, who gave a small grin before walking further left.

She rolled her eyes, standing with her arms behind her back as she glanced at Wendy who gave a small smirk at her, winking at J-Hope before quickly looking away.

God, why is everyone so weird today?

After the (long) opening finished, most of the groups including hers quickly walked off stage to sit in the artist zone, where the chairs were surprisingly comfortable to sit on.

She watched many performances until it was time to go backstage to get ready in the middle of one of the performances of which she genuinely enjoyed, unfortunately.

Yeri came by her as they walked across the area to get backstage, whispering, "Seulgi, I think Irene's having a hard time walking."

She glanced at Irene who seemed tired and full of fatigue, rushing quickly to her side to hold her arm as they climbed up the stairs.

"Is she okay?"

She looked up at the sound of the voice, finding out that it was Taehyung.

She stopped herself from rolling her eyes before replying, "What do you think? Her leg is injured, but you can't really notice, fortunately for her since she can still perform. Thanks for worrying, though."

He seemed have wanted to fire back a comeback, but didn't since he noticed Irene's gazing the other way (as if she was ignoring him) as he nodded, letting them walk up behind to the curtains with their microphones.

The curtains rose up, indicating the start of their performance.

What's with Taehyung and Irene? It's almost like, she's avoiding him.

She changed into a loose soft pink tee shirt and black tights, massaging her legs in slight pain.

She admitted she was glad to have a single room to herself, not only because it was spacious but also so that no one would need to worry for her. True, she limped slightly when she walked but the others helped her, probably thinking it would be a big deal.

But oh, it was.

It hurt a lot, physically and mentally.
Not being able to participate in the event anymore after all the hard work she put in, all of it was gone with one mistake.

She felt like it was her fault, because it was. Everyone expected her to be in it, and she let them down. She knew, she just knew by the look the trainer had on when she told her about her injury.

Disappointment, as always.

People are always disappointed with her and no matter how many compliments she gets (mainly about her looks), she never gets any about her skills or what she can actually do (except from the members whom she was grateful for.)
