Don't say I didn't warn you...
*A week later*
"Lady Aphmau, thank you for letting us stay here." I thanked her.
"It's no problem...really." she said. I nodded, and turned towards Zane, whom was behind me.
Let's go? I thought to him. He nodded.
Finding out that he's a Shadow Knight is supposed to be scary, but it will be if people find out. It seems cool to me.
I think...
But I'm still gonna take precautionary measures.
Zane, the guards and I walked in the other direction. Once we reached the stables, everyone got on their horse and we strode off back to Okhasis.
*Couple minutes later*
"Well, that trip was a waste of our time." I complained, sitting down on my bench.
Zane and I were in my room, discussing about the wedding of Garroth and...
Uhm, someone. We don't know.
This is bad.
"I know. I guess Garroth isn't known well there...grr! We need to think of something!" he exclaimed, sitting down next to me.
"Oh, I already had a back up plan." I informed.
*bet ya didn't see that one coming, now did ya!*
Zane turned towards me, and glared at me with his one dark eye.
"What?!" he exclaimed.
"Yeah. What if I just, ya know, created someone? Using my magic. I could make someone he would be interested in." I explained.
"You know, Veronica, you'll just be making another version of yourself, except this one would probably be nice." he laughed, knowing that Garroth is in love with me.
In my mind, the light bulb turned on.
"That's...IT!" I exclaimed, immediately standing up. Purple flames, that weren't hot, appeared in both of my hands.
"What are you doing?" Zane asked.
"Creating a nicer version of me; duh!" I exclaimed over the wooshes of my magic.
By using one of the fireballs, I threw one on the floor. A clone version of me appeared, and I froze her...er...me!
Now this is confusing.
I pulled up a screen with the other fireball, and began the editing.
Okay...personality; super nice and a social butterfly.
Strength; average.
Intellectual; average
"And...done!" I said, as the screen disappeared into thin air. The clone was released.
"Hello, how may I help in service?" She asked.
Or I asked?
...What.
"A man named Garroth is looking for a wife, and you shall pretend to be my twin, but we are somehow not related." I explained. The clone nodded in response.
Suddenly, we all heard a knock on the door "It's Garroth; Veronica, I need to talk to you."
"Well then come in!" I sarcastically answered.
When he walled in, the look on his face was...
Priceless!
He looked back and forth between my clone and I.
"I-is this your sister?" He stammered.
"No, but I am Victoria! Pleasure to meet you, Sir." Victoria commented, curtsying to Garroth. He was ashtray in love...
And surprisingly...Victoria was too!
"Can you both make googly eyes somewhere else?" Zane complained.
Both Garroth and Victoria lightly giggled, and shyly left the room together.
"Hope she'll stick with the plan." I muttered, sitting back down with Zane.
Immediately, someone knocked on the door.
"Now what?" I exclaimed. Garroth poked his head through the door.
"Veronica, I really to really to you about something important; privately." He explained, glaring at Zane.
"And, I just sat down." I complained as I got up. As I walked in the hall, Victoria walled in the room to give us some privacy. Garroth closed the door behind me. I wasn't turned towards him, facing the other direction.
"Okay, Garroth, what does the spoiled brat want this time?"
*omg, I can't believe I put that...*
As I turned to him, he quickly grabbed me by my waist, rested his hand behind my head and pulled me closer to him; he kissed me.
At first, I resisted, struggling to get out of his grip, but he held on tight to me like if I'm something really important!
And I'm zero percent important!
All of a sudden, as he kissed me, it felt normal to me. I closed my eyes and kissed him back, going with the flow of his lips.
How is this happening and why?
He pushed me against the wall on the other side of the hall, wanting more of me. I wanted more of him.
*wtf am I writing, rn????*
I ran my fingers through his thick, bright hair as he starting lifting my legs up; forcing me to wrap myself around him, and I obeyed... until he started lifting my shirt up. I stopped him.
"If clothes are coming off, we'd better get to a room." I whispered, hiding a laugh. He laughed a low laugh, and set me down. He then lightly stroked my cheek.
"What...just happened?" I breathed, finally getting air.
"You and I expressing ourselves." Garroth quietly laughed.
"I thought it was magic." I laughed as well. We both just stared into each others eyes, wanting to continue what just had happened.
*omg, she's a ho!!!!*
"Hey, Garroth..."
"Yes?"
"I would like to see you something that's super cool!" I explained. He nodded, confused.
We both fixed our hair, straightened our clothes out, and put on a serious face. Garroth and I entered my room.
Oh my Irene! Zane is actually communicating with someone else other than me!
Well...Victoria is technically me...
"Hey, Zane. I'll be right back; Garroth wants to show me something. I'll see you two at dinner!" I informed, and left the room. Garroth closed the door behind us.
"Where are we going?" Garroth asked. I mischievously laughed.
We walked down the hall, went up the the stairs and turned right. I found the room I was looking for.
"Veronica, why are we in my room?" Garroth asked as he closed the door behind us. For safety, I locked the door.
Immediately, I pulled him away from the door and push him onto the bed, landing on top of him. We showered each other with kisses. As quickly as I could, I unbuttoned his shirt as he pulled me closer to him.
Now, his kisses were something more than having a crush on you. Something more than even love. Something way more.
This whole time, I'd been blind about him. Seeing him in a different way. Misunderstanding him.
This was how he could forgive me...
