I have counted the days it seems like. 138 days. That's all it took for things to completely turn to shit. I thought I hit rock bottom before but it seemed like this was even worse than before. But hey, welcome to the series of unfortunate events that is known as my life.
I heard the panicked voice on the other end of the phone. "Hey are you still there?"
"Yeah," I said trying to keep my voice from wavering as tears fell down my face.
I heard a sigh of relief. "Montero, oh god where are you?"
"Don't worry about it brother. Soon I won't even exist anymore." I whispered to Matteo before hanging up on him.
He just called me again and again until I turned off my phone.
It felt like all of my luck had finally ran out. It was like the world couldn't get any crueler. I inhaled deeply look down at the blood all around me. I was finally done. I could go in peace now. No one needed to know what happened to me or what I had to do tonight. Teo wouldn't have to know that his brother wasn't strong enough.
I held the gun checking to see that there was only one bullet left. Perfect. I lifted the gun putting it into its final position. This would be the last time it would ever be used.
"This is for us white roses of isolation." I spoke out loud before a gunshot echoed throughout the alley.
