Ada sat in the corner, with a scowl on her face. Her friends were all having a grand time, playing and laughing. But, no, her teacher put her in time out.
"Ada, sit down!" Her teacher reprimanded.
"No! You do not own me!" The eight year old screeched. "I will no longer be your slave!"
And it all went down hill from there.
Charlie poked Ada's arm. "You really need to stop watching Guardians of the Galaxy on repeat." He giggled. "I will no longer be your slave!" He mocked in falsetto. Ada shoved him away, but smiled a little.
He was horrified. Mortified, even. There his friend was, standing on the table, yelping like a wild animal. Almost all of the other students joined in to the chaos, stomping, yelling, running. It was a nightmare.
Mrs. Doyle removed her glasses, and rubbed her face. Why did she get stuck with the notoriously loud, crazy, and obnoxious, Ada Johnson?
With a murderous expression upon her face, Mrs. Doyle pulled Ada roughly off the table.
"Young lady, I am calling your parents! This is the third time this week you have had this kind of outburst. I will not put up with it anymore!"
The young looked down, pretending to be scared of her statement, but secretly grinned at Charlie.
"What on earth is wrong with Ada Johnson?" He thought.
