Kill them all!!!

Yep, you read that right. As an author, I have the urge to kill all my characters. (Who else does??) But, as a reader, I hate authors that do that.

I have a solution:

You could actually kill everyone, and make readers unhappy/disappointed, OR you could fake it. Write death scenes for the characters you so graciously brought to life. Kill them all. Make it dramatic, heart-breaking, horrifying, and sappy.

I don't know why, but it's really fun. I came up with this during the summer, and writing death scenes got my gears turning. It opened doors and discovered new ones, windows appeared, and I began seeing things in a whole new light. Because of death. (This also just satisfies your need to write/be productive.)

There are multiple ways you could use this scene:
Put it in your book. For real.
Make it a dream of another character
Use it for reference
Keep it and publish it as an extra
Do nothing with it
Swap out the characters it happens to

Let me know if this helped!! Also, comment your tips for writer's block. I'm mostly coming up with these by myself...

Thanks for reading! Happy writing to you all!📝
