I listened as Sienna hummed along. Her nostalgic voice reminded me of how my mother sang me to sleep. I found myself blanking out.

My mother used to sing that to me every night while holding my hand, after she had tucked me into bed. She was a beautiful French woman with striking blonde hair and pale blue eyes.

"Watch out, you stupid man." Sienna burst-ed into anger from next to me as she grabbed the wheel and stirred clear from an oncoming truck.

"Are you mad? Look at the god damn road when you're driving." Her eyes were glowing with anger.

"I'm sorry. I was, well... Distracted." I mumbled as I tried to now focus on the road.

"Yeah, distracted you were." She sighed loudly and leaned into the seat as she closed her eyes.

"Hey. Sienna." I gazed at her peaceful face.

"Hmm?"

"Open the drawer in front of you." She opened her eyes slowly and grabbed the handle. "Now, take that out." I intended toward a soft Velcro box, that was decorated in black, and gold lines.

"This?" She asked curiously. "Yup, open it." She opened the box carefully. In it was my mother's engagement ring she received from my father. It was a celtic styled ruby ring. My father referred to the ruby as his heart and proposed to my mother.

"It-it's beautiful." She gazed at it breathtakingly.

"It is. Put it on your necklace for now. You'll be wearing it to the event." I motioned as I pulled into the underground parking lot of my apartment complex.

"But, I'm sure it's priceless. A-and why?" She looked at me if I'm crazy.

"Don't be mistaken. It's merely a step of my plan. Plus, it matches the dress." I scoffed.

Third Person

"Oh." With that, she turned her face away in disappointment. What was she thinking? How would a multi-billionaire, gorgeous man be interested in a girl who basically grew up in a slum compared to her. She placed the ring on her necklace and it around her neck and fumbled as she tried to clip it on.

"Um... Do you need any help with that?" He grinned.

"Yeah, can you clip it on?" She turned her back to him as she took her curled hair out of the way.

"Sure." He gently took the necklace and clicked it on. Then, he grabbed her beautifully curled hair and placed it back to its perfectness. When his hand brushed against the nape of her neck, he felt shocks tingle over his arms. He quickly moved his arms and shook his head to shake off his dazed state.

"Come on, now. We don't want to be late for your debut to the rich society, do we?" He smirked, keeping his collected self. Caleb climbed out of the car and opened the door to her side as he gave his hand to help her climb out.

"Thanks." She muttered, walking behind him toward the elevator. She, too had felt shy yet shockingly warm to his touch. An awkward moment rang out in the elevator but soon diminished as they walked to the reception desk in the lobby.

"Can I have the key to my suite?" He thought of Sienna, twirling in her beautiful blue dress.

"Alright sir, can you sign your name and room number here please?" A flirty brunette leaned over the counter as she took a pen out of her blouse. You could clearly see her silicon made cleavage threatening to burst out of her blouse.

"Here you go. This is the key." She gave him the keys while Sienna took notice upon the crumpled piece of paper the brunette slipped in to his hand. He took the key and smirked to himself. Sienna jumped a little as she felt his hand entwine with hers. On her way to the elevator, she felt stares on her back. Obviously, from the woman at the counter.

"Where am I suppose to stay?" Sienna questioned as the elevator door closed.

"The same suite as me. I don't want anyone to suspect us of anything."

"Isn't that why we shouldn't stay together?" She felt confused.

He chuckled lowly causing shivers to run up her spine. "You just have to wait until our contract is fully formed. Patience is a virtue, sweetheart. And I hope you have good acting skills." He noticed that he was still holding on to her hand, and released. As much as he wanted to keep holding her tiny cold hands compared to his, he had to keep this relationship strictly professional much to her liking.

"I understand." She felt the absence of his hand, so she clutched it closer to her, trying to keep the warmth that was left. She went back to observing her surroundings, trying to distract herself of his presence. The elevator screen showed number Eighty and increasing. Finally, it stopped at 99 and she snapped back to reality as the sound of the elevator ring and open.

He took the lead and stopped walking in front of the door marked 815A. Mason opened the door and stepped inside letting the warmth of his suite envelope him. He turned on the light. The light was clearer compared to the yellowish one outside. "Close the door after you come in." He paused and tossed the keys onto the kitchen counter next to his home phone. "Your room is on the left, you have approximately an hour to relax and we will be off. By the way, try not to mess up the make up. It costs money you know."

A/N: Thx for the reads so far. You guys are awesome. The photo is the ring he gave her.
