SAGE's POV

That was pretty much the end of the conversation and I was left thinking, absorbing the information given to me back there all the while eating. It was not much but it was something that I could use as a beginning to know more.

Right now, we are heading back home after buying shoes and all and let me tell you, I never knew shoes can be this expensive. Silence is dominating in the car and I gladly accept it. I do not have time or energy to pretend right now. These are times I can use to actually think and do it peacefully.

Does someone, anyone have the slightest clue as to where the hell is Elsa? And why is this a soft topic for Shane?

When we reach home, I run back to my safe haven, my room, just to relax myself. However my relaxation time comes to an abrupt end when someone barges into my room and surprise, surprise, it's Tyra!

I scowl at her. "Don't you know how to knock?"

She rolls her eyes at me and flips her hair off her shoulder, "I have to get you ready for this evening."

She is going to get me ready? Was shopping with Shane not enough that they send her to me to get me ready. This is plain torture!

But then a thought comes to my mind. "Wait, how do you know about the party?"

"Honey, this is my gang alright? Now can we hurry this shit up, because Shane, my date, wouldn't like me being late."

Her emphasis on the word date doesn't go unnoticed, it seems like she wants to make me jealous. Well, boo fudging hoo! Oh girl, you can take Lucifer all for yourself for all I care.

Yet, I have this urge just to make her angry as a return gift for this morning.

"Yeah well, I perfectly know how your 'date' is, since, you know, I'm the only girl living with him, calling his home mine." I smile sweetly at her.

Take that bitch!

This time, it's her turn to scowl and my turn to flip my hair off my shoulder.

Let the second round of torture begins!

--------------

By the time I get ready, it's already five in the afternoon. Though Tyra is a bitch, I have to admit, she is a pro at make up.

I look...beautiful..if I do say so myself. My make up is not too much, just smokey eyes, blush and nude lipstick. Keep it simple. I look different, good different and I feel pretty for once in my life.

Just because your face is pretty, doesn't mean you are too.

I shake my head, clearing all the negative thoughts. Not today, Sage. For once you are being accepted!

I look at myself again in the mirror and look at my side- braid bun and my silver earrings, which Shane chose for me. I smile at that thought...

Someone knocks at the door and then I hear Christ say, "It's time sunshine. It's Six already."

I laugh quietly at the nickname and take my purse in my clammy hands, breathing in and out to calm down the nerves. As I make my way downstairs, I notice all the three boys sitting on the couch, and are in deep conversation.

I clear my throat and 3 pairs of eyes look at me. I concentrate on Shane only and smirk as I see his eyes widen a little. Not so baboon looking now, am I ?
