chapter 18 - Dont Add Up

Start from the beginning

"Let me ask you a question."

"Ask away." I said checking my surroundings.

"Why Sade ain't made a drop all week?" He quizzed making direct eye contact.

My brother ran this, but always remained humble. So yeah, he made drops too and if one of the corner boys was out he would even hustle the corner for a minute. That's how deep loved the streets.

So I honestly couldn't answer the question, but I refused to believe my brother wasn't loyal.

"Ion know honestly." I shrugged. "Lemme ask you a question."

"I'm listening."

"Why you riding for a nigga you think disloyal ?"

"Death before dishonor." He shrugged. "You a honorable nigga so I'm riding."

"That ain't answer my question."

"Put it like this I ain't riding for no nigga ion trust and quite frankly I don't trust Sade, but you and me go way back and I got YO back."

"Respect." He nodded.

I respected him, but could I trust him.
"I got a gut feeling something ain't right." He shook his head.

"Let's get it over with man." I sighed.

Walking up to the warehouse with one suitcase in my hand the other in Mike's.

Mike stopped. "Thought we was meeting some Russians."

"We are."

"Them Jamaicans." He said at the same time shots rang out.

Both dropping the bag in our hands we began shooting back as we ran to the car.

Getting in I immediately pulled off while Mike continued shooting until we were clear.

"What the fuck." I mumbled.

Mike stayed silent the whole drive to the trap.

Pulling up at the trap. I jumped out the car angrily.

Mike grabbed me. "The less you say the more you know." He said then let me go.

"Y'all made it back?" Chris questioned.

Ignoring him I stomped up to Sade's office.

"It was a setup." I growled.

"You see anybody ?" He immediately asked.

Playing dumb I said "Nah."

"I'm gone find em'." He said heading out.

"Where you going ?"

"New connect. Jamaicans." He smiled.

I sat there dumbfounded. Was my brother disloyal?

Kelsey Santana.

Coming out of the doctors office holding my sonograms for my twelve week mark.

I was further along then I suspected. Looking at the pictures only made things even more real.

Knowing that Sade and I wasn't together was killing me. I couldn't bare going through this without him being here.

Looking at the sonogram once again I realized I couldn't murder an innocent child, because I had gotten my heart broken once again.

Getting in the car I was startled by my phone ringing. Looking down I seen it read MegaMind .

Answering Mega immediately begin speaking.

"I need you to meet me now." He rushed out.

"I just came from the Mall and I'm hungry."

No one knew I was  STILL having Sade's baby and I plan to keep it that way.

"This is REALLY important Kels."

"Okay, where ?"

"At the Walmart parking lot."

"What the fu-." I said before Mega cut me off.

"I know its strange, but I'll explain when you get here."

"Bring me two burgers from Five Guys and a Pepsi."

"Okay Fatty." He hung up.

Pulling up at the Walmart parking lot I spotted Mega's car. Luckily there was a spot next to him.

Rolling my window down after I parked.

"If you don't got my food I'm leaving." I shouted to him threw the window.

Holding up a Five Guys bag. He smiled.

Getting out the car I got in his car. Taking off my heels that were killing my feet.

"Wassup?" I said taking my food from him seeing he got me two burger and a large fry.

"Some shit ain't right and I need yo help." He sighed.

"What's going on?" I questioned eating my fries.

"Its about Sade and nobody knows him better than us."

"He's okay right ?" I said on the verge of tears.

"I think he setting us up." He sighed.

"I won't go against him, so what do you need me for?" I sighed.

"Just help me find out what's going on."

"I know a lot about Sade and what you find out, you might not like."

Sade was not a sell out by far, but Sade did fight dirty and most of the things he did would make him hated.

Sade was in love with the streets, and did his best to make the streets love him back.

Anything he did, he did to please the streets. The streets owned Sade.

I just hope Mega could handle it the truth.
