Nada - Chapter Three

And I closed my eyes, and the rain started to pour down from the sky. I sighed in complete exhaustion as I stood up and walked over to Georgina. She was just waking up from blacking out. "D? What happened? Are you okay? Is everything..." I hugged her. As tight as I could. "I'm sorry." "Sorry? For what?" "I'm sorry for everything." She sighed and looked at me straight in the eyes.

Georgina's Perspective

"Look. Whatever it is that you're sorry about, we can talk about it later. For now we need to go home," I said to him as I tried to brace him up. "I can't." My eyes were tearing up as I kept on looking him straight in the eyes, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T? DON'T YOU LOVE ME ANYMORE?"

"I did love you, Georgina." "Did? W-what do you mean you did love me? I-I don't understand." "You will. Look down," he said to me as I hesitantly looked down and saw myself, dying in his arms, repetitively, in more ways than one. I was horrified. 'The flashbacks I've been having, they were real all this time?' "H-how is this possible?" I asked him, and he answered. "I don't know. All I know is that I can do things that no mortal can do." "Are you a..." "I'm no God. There is only one God, as far as I know." "Then how can it be possible for me to die this many times?!" I screamed at him, and there was a moment of silence as he fell to his knees. "When you first died, I couldn't let you go Georgina. I just couldn't. So I turned back time so that I could save you. I tried, time and time again, looking for places that we can live a happy and peaceful life without problems, but to no avail. I just keep failing to save you."

My knees shook and I fell right beside him. I held his hand and raised his head up with my other hand and said, "And you've been enduring all that? Just to be with me?" "Yes. Because I loved you, Georgina." "My God. You've been suffering all this time and I had the faintest idea of what was happening. I'm so sorry D." "Don't be. I chose to bear the burden, and it's time to own up to my mistakes." "Are you going to...?" "Yes." "I understand," I hugged him tight and whispered in his ear "Do what you have to. Don't hesitate. It's time that you set yourself free from me," as tears streamed down his face. "I'm sorry Georgina." He said, and I pinched his cheeks as I said, "Dummy. Don't be sorry. I'm thankful for the years we've spent together. I'm more than grateful for the endless sacrifice you've done, just to make us both happy." "I won't forget you Georgina." "I love you Daren," I said to him as I wiped the tears from his eyes.

"I love you too," he said to me with a smile, as my eyes grew heavy, my breath became still, and my body became numb. One moment there was darkness, and then there was light. I shut my eyes, and there was silence.

Hey guys! I'm so sorry that this chapter took so long to complete. I had a complete wipe out with ideas and had to think for a long time as to where I wanted the story to go.

I also wanna apologize if the ending seems a bit rushed? I dunno. I'd like to think so anyways. I'm just a bit overwhelmed right now because I finally finished what I started many months ago xD And yes, I've reread my published chapters and I found a few grammatical errors and misspellings here and there, and I promise I will get around to fixing those :3
