I stepped into my momma's room to get her phone off her dresser. I went back into the kitchen and handed it to her. "Thank you baby." She said smiling and looking through it. My mom and dad went through a big divorce and it left me in tears. I cried for days until my mom just decided to move to Ypsilanti, Michigan. Momma has been going on dates with guys ever since. Right now at this point, she went on a date with two guys now and something happened with both of them so she dumped them. She's currently dating some guy named Emanuel or something. It's whatever though. I just want things to be the way they were before this divorce. I love my dad so much. I really don't know what happened. I sat on the island and scrolled through Instagram. I saw that I had fifty notifications. I clicked on it and it was just a bunch of people that is following me or liked a picture or something. I stopped at this one that said someone commented on my picture. I clicked it and it read:

That made me think of my dad, he would always call me princess. It was like a nickname he gave me. I smiled and clicked on the person's account. The user name was, aspectzavi, so maybe the person's name was Zavi. I followed them and scrolled down to see all of his pictures and videos. I won't lie, this boy was kinda cute.

I liked his pictures and videos and put him on post notification. Then exited out of the page. I was stopped in my tracks when my mom called my name. "India, are you ready for the first day at your new school tomorrow?" Mom asked a little too excited. "Not really." I said honestly. She sighed and sat next to me. "I know it's going to be hard, but I promise that everything will be fine. Look around. Don't you love our new home?" She asked. "Yeah I guess it's nice. Just gotta get used to it." I said. "Yeah and you should also get used to your new school right?" "True." I said. "Are you done unpacking?" She asked walking over to the sink. "No, just a few more clothes." I said. "Okay." I walked up the stairs and walked to my room. I pushed the door open and finished unpacking the last bit of clothes I had left. I put my suitcases in the closet and hopped on my king sized mattress.
