Barbra looked at Tim, trying not to panic in front of the boy.
"We have to tell Bruce." She said. Tim sighed.
"I don't know if we can, he probably doesn't care." Tim said, sitting down on the arm of the couch.
"Oh Tim you don't mean that. His judgment is clouded. He hasn't really gotten over Jason, and he just came back from, you know, being on trail, hardly getting out of it? And now another member of the team has died. And his oldest son walked out on him, and he probably thinks it's his fault," Barbra nodded. "Which it kinda is. It's a hard time for all of us. Especially Bruce and Dick." She leaned back on a nearby doorway. Tim stood up and put his hands in his pockets.
"We should take him to a hospital. Not in Gotham though. Too exposed. Far enough away. Like another state." Tim paused to look at his brother. "Then we should call someone. Alfred or someone from the team. We should wait to tell Bruce."
"Good idea, but another state? If we're going to do that, we'll need to go somewhere relevantly close. Boston?"
"Yeah Boston sounds good." It was about 3:15 now, and would take about 5 hours to get to Boston, so leaving then was a good idea.
"Babs, can you get a car, perchance?" Barbara smiled.
"I might." Taking out her phone, she called Zatana. Putting it on speaker, she said: "Hey Z? I need a car."
Seconds later, a car appeared at the curb across the street. "I love how you don't ask questions." Barbara said smiling.
"I don't want to know, don't tell me." Zatana said.
"An '67 Impala? Really?" Tim said scoffing.
"Listen, Supernatural is a great show, don't tell me otherwise."
"Yeah sure okay." Barbra said, and hung up the phone. Carefully picking Dick up, which was difficult because he was much heavier than he looks, they two younger ones through him across the back seat. "I'm driving. You sleep." Barbara said to Tim. Tim nodded grimly. After driving for about four hours, Babs was starting to process everything. Plugging in her phone into the aux cord, she put on her and Dick's favorite song: Creep by Radiohead. Tim was asleep in minutes, but Barbra wasn't going to sleep, even if she wasn't driving. Focusing on the road, she let the music movie through her as she listened, she thought maybe that Dick was just in the back, singing along to his favorite song, playing imaginary drums. She was losing focus on the road. Focus. Focus. She thought. If only Dick was awake, she would have someone to talk t-CRASH. Without realizing, Barbra had crash into a large truck and failed to swerve. Now all three children wounded and the truck gone, all that could be heard was the soft music still playing:
I don't care if it hurts
I want to have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul
I want you to notice when I'm not around
