I realized how beautiful it was.

Your breath sighs upon my lips,

Like filtered water colour wisps,

Translucent and incandescent.

Your eyes flutter open; irises like stained glass.

Prisms releasing spectrums of,

Rays that ricochet upon water in a,

Kaleidoscope of gold. Painting the world in highlights.

Colors so soluble.

Mellifluous and pure,

Forests glazed in a viridian hue.

I’m tangled upon your skin like damp smoke,

Shadowy pigments that unfurl; lucent wings.

And through an artist’s eye I realized how beautiful it was.

My water colour love.
