I made myself food from what I could find in the cupboards, which wasn't much but I was able to make a basic sandwich.

"Do I not get any?" Hunter asked. I hadn't realized he was back yet.

"I'm your roommate, not your nanny." I pushed past him and sat down at the small dining room table. Hunter joined me a few minutes later with a bowl of pasta.

"Mama's boy." He said raising his bowl. I simply glared at him.

"Do you think it was a good idea to leave those two by themselves?" I broke the silence.

Hunter shrugged, "Your friend will probably have the munchies so she's probably just eating right now. No need to worry."

"It's not what she's eating, I'm worried about but who."

Hunter choked, clearly surprised by my comment so I passed him my water.

"Thanks sweetheart." He passed it back after taking a sip.

Hunter and I spent the rest of the night making small talk so I eventually got up and left him, "I saved your life, you can wash the dishes!" I called out before closing my bedroom door.

-

I spent the rest of my following morning comforting a bundle of sobs.

"Sky. It honestly was a stupid mistake but you've learned from your mistake now."

"You sound like my mother." She said between sobs, cheering her up more.

"How about we go buy some ice cream? My treat."

Sky sighed gratefully, "I love you so much."

"I know." I said flicking my hair.

"And you can tell me all about Hunter." She said dreamily, following behind me.

-

I sighed seeing a new girl with Hunter on the couch, "I'm going out to buy stuff, you want anything?"

"Just a six pack of beer." He said taking a break to breathe and speak.

I took my keys and left not wanting to hear another one of the girl's "Oh Hunter". He was literally only kissing her, she needed to chill.

I didn't generally bother Hunter especially when he was with some girl. Which happened every now and again but they always left the same night.

By the time I came back home the girl had already left, "That was faster than usual." I commented when I came back.

"She was pissing me off." He said rather angrily.

"Someone need a cold - "

"Don't finish that sentence." I didn't want to make Hunter angrier so I simply took a beer for myself and sat with my feet resting on the coffee table.

"Oh Hunter!" I imitated the girl's voice perfectly.

Hunter groaned, "I never want to hear that ever again. That's the reason she left so quickly. Never been more turned off in my life."
