Yuzuru won gold. His scores were well above the competition. He is just a great skater who loves what he does and that is so admirable. Even the skaters around him have a lot of respect for him. Yuzuru is such stand up guy. I'm glad I get to spend so much time with him.

It's our last day in Montreal and we get to spend the day going around the city. Coach Brian allowed Yuzuru and I to roam where we could. We invited him and Yuzuru's mother, but they both declined, saying something about being busy. But I'm pretty sure that's a lie.

"Where should we go first?" I ask Yuzuru as I look at a map of the local area in my phone.

"Hungry," Yuzuru replies rubbing his stomach.

"Well, why don't we find a nice little place to eat then?"

I search for places to eat. There's a cute little cafe two blocks away from the hotel. I show it to Yuzuru and he gives me a thumbs up. I put my phone away as it is close enough that I don't need directions. Yuzuru follows me out of the hotel.

"Yuzu! Get your own whipped cream!" I exclaim as Yuzuru takes his spoon and takes a spoonful of whipped cream from my hot chocolate. He already finished his own.

We found the cafe and it was adorable. It's the kind of place you can just go to on a relaxing morning. We were seated quickly and had our orders taken quickly as well. I ordered a hot chocolate and Belgian waffles. Yuzuru order a hot chocolate as well and a protein breakfast. Even when he's on his day off, he acts as if he's getting ready for practice. He came out of his room in practice gear. I asked him if he had any normal clothes. He said no.

A waitress passes by and I grab her attention. "Do you think I could get extra whipped cream?" I ask politely. Then I shoot a glare at Yuzuru. "Some of mine has seemed to have gone missing."

The waitress sees me glaring at Yuzuru and Yuzuru has a childish grin on his face. She chuckles lowly. "Of course. Anything else?"

"Me too!" Yuzuru calls out cheekily.

"Two extra whipped creams coming right up. I'll be right back."

The waitress leaves us and heads back to the kitchen. I huff at Yuzuru as I eat the rest of my whipped cream before Yuzuru can take any more of mine. When the waitress comes back, she has two small cups of whipped cream and our food. I thank her for everything and Yuzuru does as well. I dig into my food and squeal happily as it tastes so good. The Belgian waffles are covered in whipped cream, chocolate syrup, bananas, and powder sugar. I look over at Yuzuru's food and it's just eggs, sausage links, bacon, and avocado on toast. That's just so like him.

We are both half way through our meals when I notice Yuzuru is eyeing my food. I roll my eyes at his lack of subtlety. I know he wants a piece so I cut him off a piece, put some whipped cream on it, and hold it out for him to eat. He tries to deny it, but I push it closer to him. Yuzuru finally takes it as I feed him the Belgian waffle. His eyes light up which happens whenever anything good happens. Or when he eats good food.

"You know, if you ever want some of my food, you can just ask," I tell Yuzuru as I take a sip of my hot chocolate. Yuzuru looks embarrassed and takes a sip of his own hot chocolate. "I'm always willing to share. You should know that by now."

"Sorry," Yuzuru apologizes sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. He bows his head to me.

I wave my hand as if wiping away the gesture. He doesn't need to be so apologetic. "It's fine, Yuzu. Just don't be so afraid to ask."

"Okay..."

After a little while, we finish our food and drinks. I try to pay for my half of the meal, but Yuzuru tells me my money is no good here and puts it in his own pocket. I pout as I don't want for Yuzuru to have to pay for my own meal or take my money. I have the money to pay for it anyways.

"You should have let me pay for my half," I complain as we walk out of the cafe.

"Your money didn't work there. Only mine," Yuzuru explains laughing at my face. A pout still present. He digs into his pocket and hands me back my money. "Use it where they'll take it."

"They could've taken it at the cafe."

"No, only my money; not your's."

"Ugh. You're impossible, Yuzu."

I turn away from Yuzu as he chuckles. Then I turn back to him. I give him a small smile as the gesture of paying for our meal is very kind of him. It's a very admirable gesture for a guy.

"Thank you, Yuzu," I say softly.

Yuzuru grins widely at me. He wraps his arm around me and pulls me in for a hug. "You're very welcome, Mai. Now let's go get you a souvenir since I know this is your first time in Montreal."

"Okay. Let's find a souvenir shop."

As we look for a souvenir shop, Yuzuru keeps his arm around my shoulders. And I don't even notice as I have a great time with Yuzuru as the normal guy, the one not everyone gets to see outside of the rink.
