"What do you know about Pension and Omission?" Yuu asked one night. Gemini was silent on the other line for a long while before the two decided to speak.

"Just as much as you. But more, if that makes sense," Kimizuki began. "We know that you are intended to one day be their successors, not just in skill but personality as well."

"Only difference is that they were girls and your personalities are switched. Pension was the cool and serious one, Omission the one that couldn't stay serious. It was actually quite creepy considering she specialized in capturing victims for the Red Room," Yoichi continued.

"Creepy is an understatement." Hyacinth's voice was calm and collected, but she seemed to be excited to speak of Omission. She was created by her, wasn't she? "Omission was amazing at what she did. Skilled to the point of perfection. No one ever saw her coming until she was going through their computer history out of sheer boredom. Her victims would always lock up in fear, too afraid to scream for help. They always fought against her. But she got this look in her eye... It reminded me of you, Mikaela. The way you looked at Sean and Georgi was so similar to her in her element. Olympia believes that she did it not just for the money but for the thrill."

"Right. Olympia. Wasn't she made by Pension?" Yuu asked curiously at my side.

"Yes. Now, unfortunately, in the hands of Sombra. She was given to her when Omission dropped off the map. Hates her job, actually. Doesn't get treated like... a sentient being."

"Isn't she sentient as well as yourself?" He inquired in a quiet sort of voice.

"Indeed. She is more human than I, due to being created by a more experienced hacker."

"And your purposes are different. It's notated on Pension's profile. But what are they?" Kimizuki asked. Well, interrogated. He had that threatening sort of tone.

"I don't have to obey that order, you know."

"Answer him," I breathed. Yuu silently fixed an error on my screen as I did so, a kiss given as thanks.

"Olympia is a system created to infiltrate and destroy within the highest level of security. I was created to assist on similar levels, although if I attempted to do her job my programming would turn against me." Her voice turned ghostly quiet then. "And I would certainly perish."

"Cynthia was created using Hyacinth's technology. Their programming seems to be majorly different," Yuu continued. "But both are lethal to everything else and themselves. That aside, it's still amazing that Mika could make something his own from something one of the masters made in her prime time."

"Why?" Yoichi asked, attempting to dig into my entirety. Something I refused to do.
I now regret it.

"I wanted a friend." The same lie I told Yuu. He now knows the truth. "As well as someone who could give me the information on all I meet."

A siren blared outside. Several, to be precise. I was currently sitting behind a wooden crate with Yuu, our figures cramped together due to the tight space we had been forced into.

All because Alyssum set a corporate business on fire.

"But there was nothing about us."

"Or Yuu," Hyacinth informed dully. "Or even Alyssum. But that's a given, since it seems to be that they are keeping you from knowing who he is."

"Mika doesn't know who the arsonist is? Really?" Kimizuki barked an obnoxious laugh that made Yuu look as if he was going to turn him into a criminal in all records.

"No. I don't. Pet, why haven't you told me?" I demanded, kicking his shin. He gave me that sly grin of his that I used to hate, now in love and frustrated with. The grin when he was satisfied with something.

"Secrets in the black market aren't rare," he reminded me as we packed up, exiting our cramped storage space. Sirens blared all around us as we put our goggles in his backpack, looking more like two lost idiots than world famous criminals.

"You'd know that the most, wouldn't you?" Kimizuki snickered. A thud and pained help followed suit, with Yuu thanking our small brunett friend before continuing his argument with Kimizuki. I was too busy nervously checking everywhere my eyes could land on for danger as people watched the cars speed past to assist the fire Alyssum had started. My eye caught sight of his coat for a brief second-

And then it was gone. Just like every other time.

He watched us, I knew. Yoichi had shown us his brief appearances in our security feeds. When he sees no danger, he leaves. Every. Time. No greeting or signal. Hell, you can't even see him shift his hands. Like a statue, Alyssum always stood just away from view.

A silent protector or stalker.

Some sort of glitch in my ear broke me from my thoughts.

"Hyacinth. Someone got on the line and severed my communication."

I spoke quietly as to not draw attention. But she didn't respond. I heard the hum of her presence, something only I seem to have trained myself to do.

And yet- she didn't answer.

"Duh. Don't want to talk to Gemini as well as your little obedient slave."

Immediately, I reached out to Yuu.

"Woah, slow down, chupacabra," Sombra said quickly. My hand froze. "I'm not dangerous or anything. Well, to you."

Then It dropped.

"What do you want?" I asked quietly. Yuu was now defending me for me in the front, waving his hands vaguely.

"I have another job for you. Now, don't get pissy and decline it, I think you may like it," she began. "And you don't have a choice."

"You already made me work with Alyssum," I grumbled. That night was a mess- he didn't speak a word to us. "So spit it out already."

"You're gonna do something that might change the black market, Beast."

"You and your beloved Ghost are going to infiltrate the Passport industry."

"Mika?" Yuu asked, turning to me. I smiled as if I didn't know what we would be doing tomorrow. This wasn't some low level theft she was speaking about-

This was a widespread information deal.

"Yeah?"

"Are you alright?" He slowed his walking to look at me. I shook my head, giving another fake smile I knew he could see through. Explanations were for the apartment. Never the streets.

"Of course."
