Ashton: GIRL GET YO ASS UP AND SKYPE ME

Elena: omg Ashton chill. Give me a second to look a little presentable

Ashton: chill? What's that? Lol okay hurry up tho

Ashton: I'm excited

Elena: lord

My feet touched my bare floor, goosebumps going throughout my body. It's currently nine o'clock at night.

I run a hand through my disheveled hair before connecting to Skype on my laptop. Am I really doing this? What if Ashton is actually an old man portraying a twenty-two year old male?

No he can't be, because of instagram, twitter, and YouTube. That's too much work for a catfisher.

The call soon connects, and a face pops up on the screen. Immediately a smile is brought up.

"Hey, sweetheart," Ashton says. I roll my eyes.

"What happened to not calling me that?" He shrugs. I smile, shaking my head. He ran a hand through his short brown hair.

"Dude, you're dimples are deeper than Little Caesars deep deep dish pizza."

Ashton starts to laugh.

"That is the best thing I've heard all week," he replys. I smile, feeling my face burn up. Why did I say that?

"Well I mean except for when you said I was hot." He winks. "So tell me, Elena what are your hobbies, interests, celebrity crushes."

"Well Ashton, I do have a crush on this bassist by the name of--"

"Elena, I like you and I'm really happy to finally be talking to you, but if you say my band mates name I will end this call."

I flash a cheeky smile.

"Oh you mean Calum Hood? You're not jealous...are you?" I smirk. Ashton's cheeks start to turn a little red. I watch in amusement.

"Me? Jealous?" He scoffs. "Please, I'm way cooler than him."

Off in the distance I hear a faint "the hell you are, Irwin." I quietly laugh, realizing that it's Calum talking.

"Okay, I'm just gonna go into my room now," Ashton says, getting up and running. He closes the door, sits on his bed, and turns his attention back to me. "Okay, now tell me about yourself."

I shrug for no apparent reason.

"What do you want to know?" I ask.

Ashton sighs. "What's your favorite food?" I smile.

"My mom makes these amazing steak sandwiches, and I swear they taste like heaven. She gets steak thats in little pieces, I have no clue what they're called. Then she'll cook the steak in white cooking wine, that makes the steak so much better. It gives it a lot of flavor, and ugh I love it so much," I say, with my mouth starting to water. "Sorry, I really went into detail with that one."

All he does is smile, and say 'it's okay'.

I laugh for no apparent reason. Really, all I want to do is stare at his face. I want to be beside him and I want to touch his dimples. His smile can light up any place on earth. He's lighting up my heart right now, if I make any sense.

"Well, Irwin here's the basics about myself. I have three siblings; two younger, and one older. I used to live with my mom, and step dad in Rock Springs.

"I'm from Wyoming, and my youngest sibling is sixteen."

"Well Elena, I don't know your last name," he leads on.

"Martin. Elena Martin," I reply.

"Why do you have two first names?"

I scowl. "Shut up." He giggles, and I feel myself blush for the thousandth time. That giggle, man. It sounds like heaven.

"Elena Martin, I'm from Hornsby, Australia. I lived with my mum, and younger siblings. My younger sisters is named Lauren. Harry is the baby of the family - he's currently learning how to play bass - I'm proud of them both.

"They're growing up so fast, and I'm afraid I'm gonna miss out on it, because of touring. My mum is the greatest mum in the world. I met my band mates in 2011, and we became the best of friends. We also used to open for One Direction, so we're legit.

"I like to party, obviously, and I mostly surround myself with people who are good for me. Such as my family, friends and fans - who I love very much.

"Uhm I don't know what else to say." He laughs. I simply smile, feeling lucky to get to know such an amazing guy.

We stay silent for a few seconds, letting the air around us stay content. There's no awkwardness, no sudden feeling of wanting to hang up, just peace.

"Well my siblings names, from oldest to youngest, are Roy, Danny, and Patricia," I say after a minute or two. Ashton nods his head. Then he yawns, making me wonder if either I'm boring him, which would make sense. I'm kind of lame, or if it's the timezone. I'm sure there's not a big difference in time, but it is pretty late here.

"What time is it, wherever you are?" I ask, looking into his hazel eyes. Another thing I'm finding myself to love about him is his eyes. They're a beautiful mixture of brown and green. I've always been fond hazel, or brown eyes.

"Well right now it's twelve in the morning here in Orlando," he says.

I feel a pang of guilt for keeping him up. He probably has a show, and I'm keeping him from sleeping.

"You should go to bed. I'm not gonna be the cause of your sleep deprivation. I'll text you later." I wink playfully.

He pouts.

"I don't want to go to bed unless you're laying next to me" Ashton smirks, then winks into the camera lense. I roll my eyes.

"Goodnight, Irwin."

"Sweet dreams, sweetheart."
