I find that things change, however much we try to hold on to the familiar. It may take a moment or it may take years, but nothing remains the same.
Life pushes us out of our comfort zones when we least expect it, and throws us headlong into deep puddles, abandoning us to get out of them as best as we can. And if it weren't for these shoves and pushes, we would never know what we are capable of !
One of the greatest lessons that life has taught me is that, ironically, the more everything changes, the more things remain the same; especially when I most want them not to.
The train of life moves on, whether I ride it to places unknown or choose to sit by the sidelines, wishing things were different.
Life waits for no one. The best we can do is ride along, with an open heart, devoid of any preconceived notions, to embrace whatever life brings us.
I have learn't to live in the moment, hoping what I don't like will change, and what I like will change, inevitably, but will still manage to remain the same!
