After my battle with joey was over I was victorious. Joey sadly walked off stage As a group of ladies rushed over to me and healed my temporary pikachu. I repeated this cycle for at least 10 battles until I started to get quite tired. I told the lady's healing the pikachu that I was done and they all showed me off the stage.

I was now back at the front desk of the Royal avenue. To my right I saw the same lady with black hair who was lending me her pikachu. I walked over to her so I could return her Pokemon.

She turned around to face me and a  smile jumped onto her face. "that was amazing! Ive never seen the crowed so enthusiastic!" she stated.

"oh.. Haha it was no problem at all ma'am. Also heres your pikachu back" I put the ball into her hand. She quickly handed it back to me and said. "how about we make a deal?" she said ".. Ok?" I confusingly asked.

"I'll let you keep this pikachu as your own if you agree to take a job here battling Pokemon everyday. Well even pay you!" her eyes glittering.

A job Pokemon battling did sound pretty cool. Not to mention i had no more money and need to keep paying rent for my motel room. ".. Okay! I'll do it! By the way my names....selene! " I said making up a fake name.  She smiled widely and shook my hand "mckayla!" she said giving me her name. When she let go of my hand there was 1000 pokedollars in my Palm. "that's for today" she said giving me a thumbs up and wink.

"t-thanks!" I thankful said. She nodded her head and made her way back to the front desk. "I expect to see you tomorrow!" mckayla said. I nodded and ran outside.

I called up my charzard with my ride pager. Moments later a speeding charzard came darting towards me and landing on the ground.

Time skip to after your ride

Charzard dropped me off and was able to find route 8 were my motel was. Charzard flew away and I stood there waving. I walked inside my room. I took of my rowlet cloak and hung it up on a hanger once again.

I walked over and sat on my bed. I took the pikachu out from a (f/c) side pack that looked exactly like gladion red one. I found it in the closet when I first got here. He must of left it behind on accident. I sent out the pikachu from the ball and it appeared on the floor. He had a confused look on it face but soon jumped into my arms making me fall on my back. "pika!!~" it sang. I laughed and hugged it.

"well now that im your trainer I should give you a name!" I thought for a second before getting a idea "how about kirameki?!" (pronounced-kera-miki) the pikachu jumped in approval "pika-pika-pi~" it sang

I laughed " ok than kirameki. We should get to bed!" I said. I wrapped myself inside the covers and kirameki snuggled up against my stomach. I swayed into a deep sleep.

Time skip to the next morning

I was walking with kirameki in my arms and my cloak surrounding her. It was windy today but my hood stayed firm not exposing my hidden  identify.

After walking I finally reached the poke center. I went inside and gave kirameki to nurse joy. She took her into the nursery. I walked Over to the Pokemart and bought some revives, potions, repels, elixirs and a town map. I put all the stuff in the pack hanging on my side. Kirameki was still not back yet so I decided to go to the cafe. I sat down and ordered  a drink. After I finished the man at the counter gave me a bundle of Pokebeans. I put them in the pack as well. Nurse joy walked over to me and handed kirameki.

I walked out of the center and headed for Royal avenue. Once I reached the building there was huge crowed outside and inside the building. I fastened my hood and shimmied through the hoards of people. Once inside I saw mckayla at the front desk. I dashed over to her and waved.

"im here for my first day! " I cheerful said. Mckayla nodded with a smile and led me into the same room I was in yesterday.

After 12 battles you decided to stop

When i walked out a few people were asking me for my autograph. After signing some papers I walked over to mckayla. "how's the pikachu been doing? " she asked "good! I named her kirameki" I said. She smiled and handed me about 1020 pokedollars.

"theres your pay. I added a little extra for all your hard work" she said and waved me bye. I waved back and exited the building. On my way home I sall a group of team skull members surrounding someone. I ran over and hid behind a tree. They were surrounding Lillie! I could feel my eyes start to water but I help back the tears and stayed strong.

"hey little lady. Whatcha got in that bag right there? " grunt A said pointing to a small white bag Lillie was holding In her arms. It was the bag that I gave to her with my Pokemon. I could feel my self get angry. Grunt B grabbed the bag and pulled. Lillie didn't
Let go. "G-Go away! This is mine! " Lillie said pulling.

That's when I had enough "don't you think this is a little childish? " I said walking out from behind the tree. My identify still coverd with my hood. I caught there attention.. "who might you be? " grunt B said letting go of the bag and facing me.

I smiled "me.. Well most people call me the broken arrow" I said. The two grunts start to laugh. "if you find it so funny then how about we battle" I challenged. The two grunts got serious and accepted. I sent out kirameki.

Time skip to After you won the battle

The two grunts went wide eyed and said there escape catchphrases before squiring away like mice.

"t-thank you.. " a small voice said behind me. I look at Lillie over my shoulder "its no problem" I blankly stated. I  walked away holding back the the tears in my eyes. I looked back at Lillie. Her eyes are blood red. She must have been crying alot lately...

I walk into my motel room like usual and get ready for bed. I send out pikachu. "pikachu~" it calls. I get out a great potion and fully heal kirameki's HP. I put a bowl on the ground and fill it with the poke beans I received form the man at the cafe. Kirameki ate them happily.

Kirameki munched happily while I ate a malasada and watching TV. Maybe this new life isn't so bad after all..
