Lillie pov

"C'mon g-gladion!! *huff* wake up!!" I yelled as I dragged gladion by his foot to professor kukui's house. When we reached there his head hit the first porch stair causing him to shoot awake.

"finally!! I thought you were dead!" I exclaimed. He looked at me then looked away. Typical gladion. "were's (y/n)? " gladion asked.

I shot him a confused look "uh.. Gladion,  (y/n)'s dea-" "no she's not I saw her!" gladion cut me off and stomped inside the house.

I ran up to him. "w-wait what do you m-mean you saw her?!" I questioned. "I mean that I saw her!! At the royal avenue!" he stated.

I went wide eyed "g-galdion are you sure?.." I asked. "positive" he blankly stated. I shot him a sorrowful look "I think you should get some rest... Your imagining things." i said while pushing him into the guest room.

"im not!" he shouted. "just go to sleep!" I yelled. "no!" he argued like a child. I pushed him into the room. He fell onto the floor. "NIGHT!" I said before locking him in the room. I could hear him screaming my name on the other side pounded at the door.

Y/n pov

It was impossible for me to go to sleep. Ive been laying in the bed for almost a hour now and still no luck. I sigh and get up from my position. "maybe I'll go take a walk to rest my nerves" I say and get dressed. I hook my cloak around my body and pull the hood over. It may be useless now but it will at least shade my identity  from any familiar faces.

I leave my Pokemon at home and walk outside closing the door behind me. 'So much had happened today. I wonder if all this will affect my job' I think and walk. I walk until I reach route  5 and decide to turn around. That is until I hear some unfamiliar voice's.

Team Skull grunts pov

Me and my bro Stood waiting for new trainers and Pokemon to find on route  5 for almost a hour. "nobodys gonna be awake now." I rudely tell my brother. "this is a total wast-" my brother puts a hand over my mouth. He points to a cascade of a shadow  coming from behind a tree and footsteps can be heard getting closer. We smirk at each other. "jack pot" I whisper.

Y/n pov

I heard two voices in the distance snickering and whispering. I decided to get a peek at what was going on. I tiptoe quietly along the path searching out the strange voices.

"hey you! " I hear someone call out to me. I jump and look to my right to see two team skull grunts staring at me. I wasn't scared of them. Just the way they were staring at me made me nervous.

"uh... Yes? Do you to need something?" I look away.

"hey. Dont we know you?" one grunt asks

"hey bro! I remember that cloak! She's the broken arrow! She's a famous Pokemon battler." The other grunt exclaims in a fake gangster voice.

The two grunt stare at me surprised and a uncomfortable silence fills the air.

"uhhhhh.. Well I better be goi-" the grunt cuts me off. "hey your a famous Pokemon battler huh? That means you must have some pretty good Pokemon with you." he smirks

"w-well actually I dont h-have any Pokemon at the moment!" i shout and immediately cover my mouth with my hands. 'why would I tell them that?!?!' I think. One grunt start to laugh

"C'mon. Even a trainer like you wouldn't be stupid enough to come outside in the middle of the night with no Pokemon" the grunts scoffs coming closer to me.

I take a step back "i-i dont have anything so please leave me alone!" I nervously yell. Except now I wasn't nervous anymore. I was straight up terrified, without my Pokemon to protect me I couldn't do anything to stop them.

Both grunts started to walk closer to me. I walked back further and further until a tree was preventing me from anymore distance. The grunts came closer and the two trapped me.

I take off my (f/c) side pack and throw it on the ground. "this is all I have. Please dont hurt me!"

One grunt picked up my bag while the other grabbed my wrist. "who ever said anything about hurting you? Now let's see whos under this hood.". He held on to my hand and flicked my hood off. It fell to my neck and hung there exposing my (s/c) face and (h/c) hair.. The grunts smirk soon faded into a angry frown.

"hey I remember you!" he said grabbing my other wrist preventing me from running away. "your the one who destroyed our plans 3 years ago with your fancy "z-moves"" he said angry. The other grunt noticed this and froze to look at me. He then got up and walked over to me. "so your the reason were out of the job?!" he shouted sounding annoyed.

(⚠Violence and cursing ahead⚠)

The other grunt threw me to the ground. "well make you pay for destroying team skull." he said putting his foot over my face. He put pressure slowly on his foot. It hurt so bad! my eyes begin to tear up. "p-please dont hurt me.. " I begged.

"heh. Not happening." he said and raised his foot up. After that he smashed it on the side of my head. I screamed in pain "A-AHH" I cried as blood started to drip across my face and onto the ground. He bent down and frowned at me.

"this is what pest like you get." he smacked my face and I let out a whimper. I sucked in a breath of air about to scream for help but then the other grunt put his hand over my mouth

"dont think about calling for help. You deserve this.

My bleeding head begin to throb as the other grunt started to kick me over and over into the stomach. I bit the grunt covering my mouths hand so hard it drew blood. He pulled his hand back letting out a yelp. "you bitch!" he scolded me.

The other grunt noticed what I did and kicked me in the stomach harder. I coughed up blood. I screamed "Help me pleas!!-" the grunt cut me off by kicking me in the back. I yelped and the other grunt coverd my mouth shut again.

"shut your trap" he scolded me.

Gladion pov

I managed to escape the room Lillie trapped me in by jumping through the window. I ran all the way to the old motel were I use to stay. Thats when I heard someone cry.

"Help me pleas!!-" a female voice screamed in the distance. It sounded like (y/n)!

The sound seemed like it came from route 5. I raced to the path that led there.

"Dont worry (y/n) im coming for you!"
