26- Unplanned Surprises

The weekend, the most boring part of the week. No work, nothing to do. Clara hasn't talked to me in days, neither has Brendon. Josh has though. Only updating me on the tour. Apparently, a few of the dates were changed for the tour and they're coming home early. He didn't tell me exactly how early though.

I'm currently standing in the shower, blasting Fall Out Boy through my speakers. My neighbours probably hate me. Who knows they could like hearing pop punk at 11 in the morning on a Saturday. They probably have a life anyway and would be outside. I never understood normal people.

I step out of the shower and wrap the closest towel around my chest. I walk downstairs to find my washing, being thankful that I live alone. I don't think anyone would actually enjoy hearing music constantly between the times of 11 in the morning and 2 the next day. My sleep schedule is strange.

My thoughts are interrupted by a light knock on my front door. I can honestly say I've never answered the door in just a towel but hey there's a first for everything. I hide behind the door and see who wants me.

The familiar red-headed boy smiles down at me. Why is he here? I thought he was still on tour? "Well, this was bad timing" Josh chuckled, seeing my situation. I blush awkwardly and allow him into my apartment as I go to get changed. That was slightly weird.

Once I am no longer in just a towel, I head back downstairs to Josh who is scrolling through Twitter. He stands up as soon as he sees me. "Surprise" He laughs, pulling me into a hug. "I missed you" He adds before pulling away and sitting back down.

Josh explains that 3 of the areas were doubled booked. I don't know how they only realised now but I'm not complaining about having Tyler and Josh back in L.A. "We're both staying in L.A until after the concert here. Then Tyler's going back to Ohio for a bit" He informs. That's at least one and a half weeks.

'So how was tour?' I type out before handing my phone over to Josh. "It was chaos, Tyler nearly dropped his phone off a bridge" Josh laughs. I smile, I saw that on his vine. "As you heard, Tyler kicked me out of the band again. Our manager wasn't too happy" He adds. Josh mentioned that when they first left. They have a seriously weird friendship. No wonder the clique ships them.

"But enough about the tour, what happened with you?" Josh questions. Well, Clara and Brendon both seem to hate me. 'I started learning the guitar again' I reply with the only really interesting thing that has happened since he was gone. I don't really feel like explaining the whole drama with Brendon and Clara. It only happened yesterday and for now, it can be ignored. Let's just enjoy the time I have with Josh until he leaves for tour or whatever again.

"You did! that's so cool. I didn't know you knew how to play" He cheers sounding sincerely interested in the conversation. 'I did in high school, only for a few years. I stopped once I got to Uni. It was too much stress and pressure to do both' I explain. My friends actually convinced me to stop. They didn't see the point of having a skill like music when I was planning on being a teacher. Honestly now, I don't know why I allowed them to make so many decisions in my life.

"Oh right, Tyler wanted us to met for lunch" Josh remembers after getting a text from who I assume is Tyler. "That's fine with you?" He checks. I nod in response and follow him out of the apartment.

I guess I deserve a distraction, even if it is just for a day or so.
