The more they are staring at  each other the more you can feel that you don't like to witness the staring battle.

Then suddenly without any hesitations, Everest wrap her arms around Chase's waist and as she close her eyes she lean her head on his chest. "Glad to see you again. I miss you."

I stop breathing. My heart is beating faster. What is happening in front of me? Everest is hugging Chase. Like she don't like to let Chase go.

Slowly my eyes move to Chase. He is closing his eyes too, but unlike Everest he is not hugging her back. His hands are still on his packet. But I know he is restraining his self, cause his jaw are moving, like he is clenching it. 

Everest look up again to Chase now with worry on her eyes, but still not releasing the guy.

She whispered something to Chase that even I am at their side I didn't heard it. Chase open his eyes and look at Everest. He shake his head and hold  both of her arms to push her a bit to let him go.

Everest protest a little but gave up and step back. Hurt are obvious on her face.

"Let's go." A demanding deep voice, Chase walk and leave us behind with Everest's sad face.

I look at Rubble and he just shrugged and follow Chase. I gave Everest a small smile and walk behind the others to the front desk.

 "What was that?" I heard Rocky when we reach the Front desk.

"We are here to see Commander Ryder." Chase told the woman sitting at the desk without answering the question of Rocky.

Even me, I want to know what happened. I want to know what happen between them? How Everest knew Chase? There's a lot of question in my head now that either Chase or Everest only can answer it. Curiosity is creeping on my neck. What was they say about cat and curiosity? Yeah, it is the reason why cats die. Yeah, so I need to stop it.

"You're the new team?" The woman asked and Chase nodded. "Commander Ryder said you need to have a rest for the long ride. He will meet you tomorrow morning. He's currently have a meeting." she said and typing something on her keyboard. " He also said that your room are ready. Please head up to fourth floor, the elevator is on your right." She continue.

Chase nodded "Thanks."

"Are we sharing one room, ahm-" I look at the tag on her uniform "Ms. Pony?" I want to comment about her name but not this time.Panic is obvious in my voice.

Yes, we are together for five years but I need to have my own space. Even we are trained to treat equals, they are still boys for Pete's sake.

Pony -as her name tag said- just smile at me.

I look at the group and they all smirking, including Chase. While Marshall is wiggling his eyebrows.

I close my eyes, "Why are you all smirking?" I open it again and cross my hand in front of me and glaring at them.

Chase shake his head and head to elevator. "You have nothing to worry Skye. You're not our type."

They all laugh at me and follow Chase.

"Not our type baby girl, but still our baby girl. So don't worry." Marshall said grabbing my hand and pull me to walk.

I smile to what Marshall said. Yes, maybe they are all boys here. And from the start they respect all the girls in our batch and never took advantage. They even treated us as equals specially in our training. They kicked our butt a lot.

I remembered the first day me and Chase fight in the ring for the first time.
