Part 42: Great Job

After recieving the manuscript safely.

We headed back to the office.

I thought.
While going back.
The car will be filled with silence.

Surprisingly.
Aoki-san started a conversation.
On the way back.

"I knew that it was not your working day. I am sorry for suddenly dragging you with me."

" Ah... no it is fine. It was a great experience for me."

I thought he was not aware of it.

He said "Anyways, once you come for work, it will be tough. Come prepared to edit books."

"Ah... ha ha ha.... sure."

He conversation suddenly stopped.

For few seconds.

Then Aoki-san added.

"Great work today."

Part 43: Soon

It has been already a week.
Since the introduction meeting.

The day I saw editors dying.

The day I met Aoki-san.

The great editor-in-chief.

Finally.

The next day is my first day at work.

I will soon work in a place.
Where everyone in the editing board.

Looks like they are dead.

From lack of sleep.

Part 44: Bad Dream

Takeru-senpai.

He was walking with me.

Then suddenly.
He runs away.
Far from me.

I chase him.
With all my power.

When I finally caught his hand.

I realized that he became taller.

When I had a look at him.

It was Aoki-san.

That very moment.

I woke up from the sleep.

Thinking to myself,

What a bad dream I had right before the first day at work.

Part 45: Motivational

I still cannot deny that I hate work.

But since I have no way to escape from it.

I just decided to motivate myself.

While getting ready to head out to work.
By saying,

C.S Lewis once said "Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny."

And trying my best to convince myself that something good will always happen even at the worst.

Part 46: Soldier

I woke up around 7 am.
About three hours earlier than usual.

The reason was solely one.
It is the first day as the editor in ' Monthly Candy Novel Magazine'.

I packed everything I needed.

Got myself dressed.

Cooked a proper breakfast.
And went to work.

On the way,
I dozed off in the subway car.

Preparing.

To stand in the front line in war.

Like a brave soldier.

Hello!
This is Star25623, trying to make literally 1000 excuses for not uploading for the past three weeks......

Well! I have a reason for the absence!

I had mocks (and yes, I did not do well even though I put all my best into the studies ahaha) also for some reason I was so busy even after the mocks, so I could not find a perfect time to upload the new parts.

From this week and onward I will finally have school break so yes! I might update twice a week!! XDD

But one thing for sure is that I will regularly update until the end of my school break~
