Percy started chasing Elle around camp, and then chased her to the lake. He thought he had her trapped. But to his suprise, Elle let herself fall into the lake. Percy panicked, and instead of diving in to get her, he ran to Annabeth. Screaming. And she said "What did ya do this time?". What Percy forgot was that Elle was the daughter of Poesidon, so she had the ability to breathe underwater.
