Chapter 1

A/N here's the first chapter! Please give me feedback as I want to know how you feel about it so far :)

Lauren's POV
I walked into the school building to be greeted by Dinah, Normani, Lucy, Vero, Perrie, Leigh-Anne, Jesy and Jade. They where my friends, they where lovely to me and I enjoyed their love and support but I knew that would all change if they found out my dirty secret, I'm gay, but the only person who knew about that was my closest friends Dinah and Normani, they are the only ones I can trust and they are the only ones that don't pick on someone I have a crush on. I can never tell the others, it would ruin my reputation and they would all hate me. I smiled at them and walked over to where they where standing, next to my locker "good morning losers" I said with a smirk as I unlocked my locker and took out the copy of "Of mice and men" I needed for English class along with my notebook. We all began gossiping about people in the school when Vero brought up someone that gained my attention. "Did you hear that rumour about cabello?" We all shook our heads except from Lucy who squealed and grabbed Veros arm "I did! I knew it" she said as she and Vero smirked. I stood confused "what are you guys talking about?" I asked "yeah what?" Dinah asked "cabello likes girls, someone from the baseball team caught her checking out lauren, that brad Simpson guy" I stood dumbfounded, Camila Cabello, the girl I've had a crush on since the 6th grade was checking me out? There was no way. "He was probably lying" I said with a shrug. I looked at Dinah and she looked at me knowingly "hey lauren, me and Normani where just going to the bathroom, come with us?" She demanded more than asked. The girls gave us a weird look but shrugged it off and carried on gossiping as the three of us walked in the direction of the bathroom. When we got there Dinah closed the door and Normani checked that all the stalls where empty before they both turned to me "Lauren you know what they are going to do right? Camila is never going to hear the end of this, what are you going to do?" Normani said as she placed a hand on my shoulder. I shrugged and put my head down "what can I do? They don't listen to me, and what am I supposed to do? Just say to them 'oh yeah by the way don't fuck around with camila because I've been in love with her since 6th grade when I bumped into her during recess and knocked her over'' oh and while I'm at it why don't I just say "oh yeah also I have a dick!' no! I can't tell them anything, they would hate me" I said with angry tears of frustration threatening to escape. They looked at me apologetically "we're sorry laur, we know why you're afraid but you would always have me and mani, and I don't think all of them would hate you, except maybe Lucy and Vero, those homophobic pricks" Dinah said with a scoff at the end. Normani nodded and turned back to me "Dinah is right, anyone would think those two where hiding something" she said with a smirk

She did have a point, they where always hugging and going round each others houses demanding they where having 'Lucy and Vero time'. I'll have to look into that. I pushed the thought to the back of my mind as I thought about the problem at hand. "Look if I see them messing with camila I'll just make it obvious that I'm not interested in messing with her and maybe they will get bored, or at least camila will know I don't want to hurt her, and the same goes for  you two alright? By the way how are you two doing?" I said with a knowing smirk plastered on my face. The two girls blushed and looked down as their hands interlocked "we're great" the two girls mumbled shyly

Normani and Dinah had been secretly dating for a few months when they both took their heads out of their asses and realised they where crazy about eachother.
I frowned as I looked at the time and realised we had been in the bathroom for just over 5 minuets. "guys we should get back to the girls, the bell will be going soon" they nodded and gave eachother a quick kiss and reluctantly separated their hands with a sigh as the three girls walked back into the hall. Lauren felt her heart break as she saw what was happening.
