Chapter 5 - The Truth

I thought i should tell Riley the truth but i think i should tell Lucas first.I texted Lucas and told that i needed to talk to him about something. 

~Texts Between Maya and Lucas~

M: Could I please talk to you

L: Yea sure come over to my house

M: Ok ill be there in 30 minutes

L: Ok see you then Huckleberry

I went to Riley house to tell her the truth. I went through the window and say by the bay window waiting for Riley to come.Riley finally came and I we started talking.

~Riley and Maya Conversation~

M: Hey Riles

R: Hey Peaches

M: What's up

R: Nothing what's up with you you look nervous

M: well umm yea im gonna tell Lucas

R: What do you mean by your gonna tell Lucas

M: Im gonna tell him that i like him

R: No you can't

M: Riles you can't stop me i think its time to tell him  

R: Fine go tell him

~End of Conversation~  

I was walking to Lucas's house try to figure out how to tell him and that was the only thing i was thinking about. I finally got to his house and thought about knocking but i was having second thoughts

should i really do this...

I thought about just leaving and calling him on my way back home and telling him i couldn't come, but i thought about it more and ended up knocking i wait for a little and he finally opened the door.

M:Hey Huckleberry

L: Hey Shortstack

M: I wanted to tell you something but you have to promise that you wont freak out.

L: Okk..... I can take whatever you have to say

M: Well umm I like you like a lot but was just afraid to tell you because Riley does also as you know already but i told her and she was not cool with that or me telling you I like you but i couldn't keep it any longer so i just had to tell you

L: I like you too  but i don't think we can ever work anything out because we both know that Riley likes me a lot and i know you don't want to hurt her but if you ever need any help or need someone to spend time with you can come to me anytime for any help you might possibly eed in the future

Maya was shocked that Lucas also liked her but not so happy about the part when he said he would not work out

M: It can work out i dont know how but we can

L: How can it work out the only way is hurting Riley and i dont want to do that and i dont think you really wanted to hurt her either

M:  Yea your right but its always about Riley's Feelings what about mine?
