"Unbelievable!" Samantha grinned as she walked in, her team trailing behind them. "You're times are the best we've had in years!" She said.
I smiled at her, my cheeks beginning to turn scarlet. "So does that mean-" I started, but she cut me off.
"Of course that means your on the team!" She said happily. There were cheers all around. "Congratulatoins!" She laughed as che clapped me on the back. "I think introductions are in order." She pointed to her teammates. "This is Jordan, Elle, Mary, Hannah, Emma, Molli, and then there's me." They all smiled and waved.
"Well hi, I'm Arabella Weasl-" I paused, and smiled. "Sorry, Arabella Malfoy."
"Welcome to the team Arabella!" Emma squeaked.

"Dad! I'm home!" I called, unlocking the door and setting my bag on the counter. When I heard no response, I felt everything freeze inside of me. "Dad! Dad are you home?"
I gripped my wand and ran through the bottom floor of our house. It was completely empty. I ran up the stairs, and definitely noticed something wrong. My dad's bedroom door was open, and it looked like a robe was in a wrinkled mess in the doorway. I ran to his room, and there my dad was, curled up in a fetal position. His hands were wrapped around his head.
"Shh.. Sh.. Please don't- Please don't talk." He whispered. "My head hurts." I knelled beside him and ran my hand across his forehead. I knew how he felt, it was one of the worst pains I felt before. And before my dad will even realize what's going on, he'll feel even worse.
"Don't worry dad, I'll make everything better." I said soothingly before walking back down the stairs and out the house. I apparated across the field to Aunt Ginny's where I knew she grew lavender. I grabbed a handful and then apparated back to my room. I hear my dad groan.
I grabbed my school cauldron and began working on a potion. The potion took well over half an hour. I added all the ingredients and before I knew it, I had the desired potion. It was a light purple potion, and I bottled every last drop, and returned to my father's room. He still sat on the floor. "Dad, can you sit up for me please?" I asked. Slowly, he sat up.
"Bells, everyhthing's hurting, I can't even see straight." He groaned, setting his back against his bed.
"I know dad, trust me. " I uncapped the potion and put it in his hand. "Drink this, it'll make you feel better." With shaky hands, he drank the potion. I knew he felt relief when his face softened.
"Thank you so much darling." He mumbled. His eyelids drooped, and then slowly closed. The sleeping potion infused with lavender definitely worked. I used a levitation spell and set him on the bed.
"What am I going to do without you?" I whispered. "Toby, come here." Even though I whispered it, I knew he would hear me. Toby appeared moments later.
"How's he doing?" He asked. I didn't respond for a few seconds.
"Remember the first night at Hogwarts, Seventh year?" I mumbled. Toby let out a sigh.
"Oh." He said simply. I turned to him, holding out my arms. He smiled sadly and hugged me. It was weird, being able to feel him, and not touch him.
"Will you stay tonight?" I asked him as he retreated from the hug. He nodded. "Meet me downstairs." I told him. And he sunk to the floor. I rejoined him downstairs, where I made myself a cup of tea. "How've you been Toby? I haven't seen you for a couple of days."
Toby chuckled. "I've been good actually. I just was in Ireland, searching for this book-"
"Ireland?" I asked, completely taken by surprise. He nodded.
"Yea, anyway, there is this book I'm looking for about werewolves. It's supposed to be really good, but apparently it's really rare." He explained happily. I loved Toby, but he was as nerdy as I was. It was funny when he was alone with me, where his bad boy attitude would go away and his nerdy side would show.
"Well good luck finding it." I commented.
"Bella, how much time-" He said seriously. "How much time do you think he's got?" I sighed.
"Speaking from personal experience, about six months." I willed myself not to cry. "I just, can't imagine a life with out him."
"Well, savour every moment we've got with him now." Toby said sadly.

I woke up on the couch, my hair a frizzy mess once again. I sat up, wiped the small bit of drool that hung from my chin, and walked to the kitchen. Mid-step, there was a knock on the door. "Hey Toby! Are you still here?" I called. His head appeared through the ceiling. "Can you start breakfast for me?" He rolled his eyes but went to the kitchen.
I walked to the door, patted my hair down, and swung it open. "Morning love." Elliot chuckled, scanning me. I laughed and let him in. "How was your tryout?" He asked. He followed me into the kitchen, and I sat at the table.
"I'm a Holyhead Harpy." I grinned. His face lit up. "I've got practice on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays. But not until two weeks from now."
"That's really great Arabella, I'm really proud of you." He said happily. "I've got a surprise for you too. But you'll have to accompany me."
I smiled as Toby brought me a plate of food. "Thanks Toby. And what on earth can it be if we have to go there?" I asked. He just smirked at me. "Ok, Ok, just let me finish breakfast and let me go freshen up. "
And so that's what happened. I ate my breakfast with my two best friends, before going back upstairs. I took a quick shower and before descending the stairs a final time, I checkd on my dad. "Dad? You awake?"
He moaned. "Yea, yea, come in." I walked quietly into the room. "Did you make breakfast?" He asked. I smiled at him and pointed to the doorway.
"Toby did, it's just eggs and toast." I said. "Anyway, I'm heading out, Elliot's got a surprise for me, and apparently it's good." I told him. He smiled. "Also, I made the team! You're looking at the Holyhead Harpie's new seeker!"
His face lit up with joy. "I'm so proud of you. I can't wait to go and watch." He paused. "..assuming that I get tickets." I grinned at him and picked up my bag.
"I'm sure I can hook you up with some tickets. I'm going to go now, there is another potion for you in my room on my bed, but it's just in case you feel a lot of pain." I began to walk out the door. "Love you dad!"
"Love you too." He responded.
Back in the kitchen, Elliot held out his hand and as I grasped it, the familiar sensation of apparition washed over me.
