Another Day in the Life of Fred Weasley-

Fred's pov

"Fred! Will you be joining us for tea later?" Ginny asked as she browsed the isles of Weasleys' Wizard Wheeezes.

"Um, probably. It's not like I have any plans.. Bells is at school so it's lonely at the house." I replied, while handing the customer their change. Ginny noticed my sudden change in mood and walked over to me. She put her arms around me and hugged me tightly. "I've never felt so lonely.." I said quietly.

"But you're not alone Fred." Ginny said sternly. "You've got us, your family." And with that she apparated. The rest of the day went rather slowly, seeing as many of our customers are mail-in orders. When the day was done, I hung up my robe and let Lee close up shop. Apparating home, I sat on the couch like I did every night and watched some muggle television. A tapping on the window caught my attention.

Sitting on the windowsill was Amare, Bella's owl. I got up and let the owl in. She dropped the letter, gave me a little peck and then soared out. I ripped open the letter and smiled at my daughter's handwriting.

Dad,

I have some absolutely spectacular news! I had a weird dream first night at Hogwarts and then my hair and eyes started to change color.. I was confined to the hospital wing until this morning, when I found out that I was a Metamorphmagus! Don't tell anyone yet, I want to try something at Christmas.

That's all for now.. Tell Uncle Bill and Aunt Fleur that Vic is loving it here at Hogwarts! Although Teddy likes to tease her. Oh and I almost forgot! Elliot conjured up a bunch of flowers and it was really sweet. Anyway, reply soon!

I grabbed myself a piece of parchment and quill and jotted down a quick reply. As soon as I sent the letter, I apparated over to Ginny's.

"Hey Fred!" Harry said, while opening up the door. "How are you?" He asked while I letting me in.

"Absolutely brilliant. And you?" I replied, stepping into their house.

"Very well thank you." He looked around his house. "Kids! Uncle Fred is here!" At that moment I could here footstep running down stairs.

"Uncle Fred! Uncle Fred!" Two boys cried. James and Albus both came bolting at me, colorful objects in their hands. "We've tested out your new products, they fantastic!" Albus cried, handing me a used Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes product.

"Fred! How many times do I have to tell you don't let my children test your products!" Hissed Ginny as she entered the room with a cup of tea in hand.

"I didn't let all your children test it!" I laughed. "Lily doesn't have a product!" I said as Lily walked up to me.

"That's because your products are dumb!" She said while sticking her tongue out. Albus and James laughed at her.

"Blimey, you remind me of Hermione!" I laughed. Harry laughed but Ginny glared at me.

"I heard that Fred!" A new voice said, while stepping into the room. Hermione walked over to Ginny and glared at me. Ron came in after, chuckling silently.

"Well it's true.." I stated. Everyone laughed and even Hermoine cracked a grin. We all sat around the living room and had tea for a couple hours until I decided to leave.

"It was nice having you over, come back again soon!" Ginny said while giving me a hug. I nodded and apparated home. Crawling into bead, I stared at the one picture next to my nightstand of me and Maddie before dozing off into a sleep.
