**All characters in the Harry Potter series go to J. K. Rowling. Madeline, Madeline ll, Arabella and Toby are mine! :)**

A Second Chance-

There he was, standing in a suit and tie, smiling happily at me. I was holding my father's arm as he walked me towards Elliot. I felt a long, elegant dress on me and I realized it was a wedding dress. I was getting married! I looked up at my dad and saw him smiling down at me.

As I reached the altar, I looked out into the audience. There was the entire Weasley family was there.. and I even saw Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Sirius! On the other half of the crowd, there was Draco, Astoria, and Scorpius along with Elliot's other relatives. Harry was proudly watching me next to Ginny. Toby was floating off to the side next to Uncle George. Even Alice, Madeline and Emmy were there, and they were my bridesmaids!

"It's beautiful." I said outloud.

"It's what you truly desire." Someone else said. The entire scene paused and I looked around. There, at the opposite end of the aisle was my mother in a simple pastel blue dress. "Hello sweetheart." She cooed. I ran up to her, holding my dress in one hand and a bouquet in the other. I dropped them both and hugged her tightly.

Her warmth filled me up and I wanted to hug her forever. "I missed you mum." I cried. She caressed my cheek and looked me in the eyes.

"Hey, don't cry! You'll ruin your makeup!" She giggled. But then she got serious. "Bella, I can't stay for long.." She said.

"What do you mean? Aren't I dead? Don't we have like eternity now?" I asked. She shook her head.

"The potion worked. Your dad saved you and now you have a second chance." She said. "I'm so proud of you for staying strong." I smiled at her and hugged her again.

"Mum, where am I?" I asked, taking another look.

"Well.. I think we're in one of those strange rooms up there. I've never been in those rooms, but I know that whatever you see in here is what you truly desire." She turned to me and smirked. "You desire to marry Elliot! Oh that's so sweet!" She squealed.

I blushed a scarlet red. "Well what happens next? Do I stay here forever?" I asked. She shook her head.

"No, you go back, disease free and resume your life." I was about to ask what happens to her when I go back, but it's like she read my mind. "Me? I go back to heaven with everyone else whose died." She paused and looked down at me. "Honey, you've grown up so much. I'm so proud." She whispered.

I intertwined my fingers with her and continued to hug her, not wanting to let go of the one person in life who I took for granted. The one lady who I probably loved the most, yet have seen for such little time. We were just standing there in silence, enjoying the minutes we had left of each other's company. "Mum," I started.

"Hmm?" She hummed.

"Is it alright," I paused and looked into her eyes. "Is it alright if I marry Elliot?"  She was completely taken by surprise.

"Of course you can, it's your life." She said. "He's a good kid, and I know he'll treat you well." She said.

"Do you think he's going to propose after we leave Hogwarts?" I asked her hopefully. She smirked.

"Oh maybee." She sang. She turned around and a door appeared. "I've got to go. I love you Arabella." She said. I started crying as I hugged her one last time before she slipped into the door. Everything around me started to face slowly... into darkness..

Voices. I could hear them all around me. They were almost frightened, but stern. I could feel them poking and prodding me, and I even heard someone begging me to open my eyes. It was definitely a male voice, and very smooth.

Why were they freaking out? I thought to myself. It's literally been minutes since I blacked out, they can't possibly think I'm dead?

Then, all of a sudden, I felt every part of me. I could feel my fingertips and my toes, and not to mentioned the dryness of my lips. I could hear everything around me clearly and I definitely could feel the slow rising and falling of my chest. I let my eyes flutter open and I propped myself on my elbows.

"What happened?" I asked to no one in particular. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to see Elliot. "Elliot!" I screamed as I threw my arms around him. I kissed him passionetly on the lips and I felt his hands run through my hair. When we retreated, I could see that he had been crying. "Elliot, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" I asked.

He wiped his tears. "I'm crying because they were going to pull the the plug." He said. I gasped and held onto him.

"Hey, don't worry, I'm not going anywhere for a long time." I told him reassuringly. He relaxed and got up as the rest of my family rushed in, my father looking rather pale. They gave me a hug and we literally talked for hours.

Teddy and Victoire explained what was going on at Hogwarts, and how the House cup was between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. Uncle George told us that the Weasley Wizard sales went up after I got sick. And even Aunt Ginny told me that the Holyhead Harpies sent a get well basket for me.

"Wait." I said suddenly. Everyone got quite. "What's the date?" I asked.

Toby went through everyone causually and stood next to me. "Well, it's early March." He stated. My blood ran cold and I fell back onto the bed.

"I've been out for nearly three months." I mumbled. "Can I go back to Hogwarts?" I asked Uncle Harry. He gave everyone a look and they cleared the room. Everyone except my dad left. "Uncle Harry, dad, please tell me I can go back to Hogwarts." I pleaded.

Harry scratched the back of his head. "The thing is Arabella, even though you've been keeping up with your studies, you're still drastically behind." He said.

I shook my head. "No, no, no I am not repeating this year. I need to graduate." I said sternly. "Give me two weeks and I can complete everything." I told them. My dad chuckled in the corner.

"Bella, you're almost two months behind everyone." He said. I groaned.

"Give me two weeks." I snapped. "I can do everything. I promise." Dad walked over to me.

"Fine, two weeks, but if you don't have it done by then, then I'm afraid you'll have to repeat the year." He said. I nodded.

"As far as I know, she isn't going to be coming back to Hogwarts." I told them. Alice and Emmy pouted and Mylor and Pierre shook their heads.

"It's a shame, she was literally one of the more liked people here at Hogwarts." Pierre said. Emmy nodded.

"Yea! She was quidditch captain, Head Girl and all the teachers liked her!" She said. I felt myself frown as I looked up at the giant clock in the Great Hall. Arabella has only a couple of minutes left before her two weeks are up.

I felt a nudge on my shoulder. "Psst. Stop zoning out, McGonagall is about to say something." Mylor said. I looked up and listened.

McGonagall said something about the Quidditch season and how exciting it's been. She also complimented Professor Longbottom on successfully raising some sort of exotic plant and finally, she was pleased with the scores the students have been getting on the tests.

"And finally, I'd like Hogwarts to welcome back our young Head Girl, Arabella Weasley!" She said with glee. The giant doors opened and she stepped into the hall. The Gryffindor table was exploding with happiness and I saw the entire Gryffindor quidditch team smiling. Even Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff clapped. Arabella walked over to the Gryffindor table and before she sat down next to me, she looked up at McGonagall. "Welcome back Miss Weasley."

Arabella sat down and then the feast began. Everyone around us was talking animatedly to Arabella, and underneath the table I felt her slip  her hand into mine.

Surprise!  I have another update! I also wanted to celebrate the fact that I'm allowed to play soccer again!

Question of the day: Would you play quidditch? What house/team?
