Ever since that day that Elliot strolled into our compartment on the train to Hogwarts, I knew there was something about him. Even when we fought in fifth year, he was still on my mind. And when I got sick last year, he was almost always by my side, concern in his eyes. Elliot was my best friend, and he always will be.
And here we are now, making the biggest decision of our lives. His hands were in mine, and he was searching my eyes, reading my story.
A voice interrupted my thoughts as I looked at the ceremony wizard. "Do you Elliot Malfoy, take Arabella Scarlett, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in heath, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself solely unto her for as long as you both shall live?" Elliot grinned.
"I do." He said, his voice sending shivers down my spine.
"And do you, Arabella Scarlett, take Elliot Malfoy to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and health, to love, honor and obey, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself solely unto him for as long as you both shall live?" The wizard said, turning to me. I smiled up at Elliot.
"I do." I said, confidence in my voice. We exchanged rings, his cold hand gently sliding the gold band around my finger. The wizard turned to the audience.
"By the power invested in me by the Ministry of Magic, I now pronounce you husband and wife." He said, and I felt Elliot pull me close, before tipping my head with his finger, and placing his soft lips upon mine.
There were cheers all around, and I recognized most of them. When our lips parted, I turned to the crowd, a grin on my face. Scanning over them, my mind suddenly flash backed to the time when I met my mother in one of my dreams. The dream was what I desired, and it was me marrying Elliot, except she was there, along with Uncle Sirius, Grandma and Grandpa. As my mind returned to reality, I realized that they not be here physically, but all of them were here in spirit.

As the reception started, I received many congratulations. So many people, even people I didn't know, gave me a hug. Right now I sat next to Elliot and his family on the left, and my dad and Toby on the right. "So, what did you think?" I asked my dad. He was smiling, but there was a sense of tired about him.
"It was beautiful. Truly." He replied, taking a sip of Firewhiskey. "I think I'm going to head in early honey, I'm not feeling so well." He said before standing up. I ignored the sudden feeling of sadness that overwhelmed me, and smiled up at him.
"Have a good rest dad." I said to him. He pecked me on the cheek before leaving the marquee. I sighed and felt Elliot tighten his grip around my waist.
"Hey, don't worry about him, he'll be fine." He stood up and offered his hand. "Dance with me?" He asked. I took his hand and he lead me to the dance floor.
We danced to a slow song first, and everyone cleared the floor as they watched us. Other couples joined in, including Harry and Ginny and George and Angelina. But the one couple dancing that made me grin was Teddy and Victoire.
When the slow song ended, there were some upbeat songs, to which all my friends joined. "You look lovely Arabella!" Mylor said, as he danced along side Elliot and I.
"You clean up well!" I replied to him over the music. Everything was perfect. The people who I loved were dancing along side me, and I smiled to myself as I realized that every single person at this party cared about us. Elliot and I.

At the end of the day, the Marquee was in a messy state. Both Elliot and I's family members left, but not before congratulating us one more time. Mylor, Pierre, Alice, Madeline, Emmy and Toby helped us clean up a bit. All of them were sleeping over and so they didn't mind helping.
"I can't believe you two just got married!" Alice squealed. I giggled at her.
"Oh believe me, it's been such a rush," I replied to her as I picked up a paper plate that fell off a table. "Arabella Malfoy." I whispered. Arms went around my waist.
"I like the sound of that." Elliot whispered. I laughed. "Are you guys ready to go in?" He asked and we all nodded. Not so quietly we made our way across the field and back into the house. I plucked my wand from the side of my dress and used it to move all the furniture in the living room to the walls. I transfigured my rug into two mattresses and I myself sat on the couch.
Everyone settled into a spot and we just started talking. "Since you guys are married now-" Alice started as I gave her a look. "Are you going to have children?"
There was silence. Elliot and I looked at each other. There was a sparkle in his eye, as if saying yes he wanted to have a child but he was to afraid to say something. I turned to Alice. "Yes, absolutely. Just, not yet." I replied. Everyone smiled and Elliot looked as though he wanted to jump up with happiness.
"What about names?" Madeline asked, while munching on a granola bar. I thought about it for a moment.
"I don't know about a boy, but if it were a girl, I want to name her Ebony. I've always adored that name." I said nonchalantly.
"Oh I love you so much!" Elliot chuckled as he pulled me onto his lap.

As everyone closed their eyes and let sleep take over, I slipped out of Elliot's arms. He smiled in his sleep, and he looked genuinely happy. I hopped over Alice and Madeline, who were sleeping on the floor, and nearly tripped over the snoring Mylor. As I ascended the stairs, sadness again overwhelmed me.
My father was getting sicker and sicker, and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it.
I walked down the hallway to my dad's room, and opened the door. He was asleep in his bed, his mouth open slightly. I walked over and sat on the side of his bed. The bed dipped slightly and yet he didn't stir. With the little light that seeped into the room, I saw his tired expression.
I felt a tear stream down my face. I'm good at reading people, and by his expression, I couldn't tell if he was tired as in exhaustion, or tired of being alone. "I love you so much dad." I whispered. "Don't give up."
As I returned downstairs, I was well aware of the figure sitting up on the couch. I sat next to him, and he gently layed me next to him, his arms wrapping around me. "He'll be fine." Elliot whispered in my ear.

So as a celebration of me BEING FREE FROM SCHOOL, I decided to update. I also kinda wanted to share what happened at school. So my second-to-last final was math, which techniacally didn't count at all. She knows (my teacher) that she isn't very good at teaching so she said it won't affect our grade.
Then it was brunch. (or break, or recess or whatever you want to call it) So my friends and I were sitting on these benches in the middle of the school when I got thirsty so I went to buy a drink. Not even three steps from the benches the students start making a ruckus (sp?) and I looked up and THERE WAS THIS COMPLETELY NAKED GUY STREAKING/RUNNING TOWARDS ME AND I HAD RUN OUT OF THE WAY OR ELSE HE AND HIS DONG WOULD HAVE HIT ME.
After that rather disturbing sight, I had the pig dissection which was super duper disgusting but rather easy. I finished an hour early then I went home and slept until like right now. (12:00-8)
I hope you all have a fantastic summer vacation!
