Snowflake

You held her hands;
Tight, in the snow, and warm.
The snowflakes, fall;
On your hands before the storm.

Closing your eyes;
You feel your heats exchange.
Oh but please look outside;
You're walking to the storm, closing it's range.

They scream out their lungs;
Trying to break those mirrors down.
But oh, you're building them back up;
All you want to see is you both together around.

I could see nothing but all greed;
In the eye of the storm.
It's waiting for you to reach closer;
Throwing away everything along.

I close my eyes, as I saw;
You getting inside the wind.
Imagining inside;
Pieces of glass piercing.

But when I open my eyes;
There was no storm but a breeze.
And I could see your mirror still intact;
And I could see the voices freeze.

And oh, you both got just a scar;
Another scar to be proud on.
And oh, a snowflake, it did fall again;
Fell on your hands and flew off to the sun.
