Chapter 3

Kageyama PoV

Its weekend with nothing to do but my home work. I still have this essay that needed to be pass on friday, before the winter break. But I don't know what to write. "Urghh!!" Tumayo ako sa pagkakaupo ko sa upuan ng aking study table. I flopped my self back on my bed my hands under my head. I stared at the ceiling thinking about certain someone. 'What could Hinata be doing?' I thought and decided to send him a txt.

To: Hinata
Subject: Hey
~sup hinata? What r u doing ryt now?

√Sent

For the past few weeks I noticed myself getting all flustered and nervous whenever Hinata is with me. I decided to shrugged off my feelings towards him but the more I ignore it the more it wanted to burst out of chest. Alam ko sa sarile ko na hindi ko lang sya crush, talagang nagugustuhan ko na sya.
I put my phone back on top of my night stand and waited.
I miss his voice when he shouts, his soft skin when we accidentally bumped or touched each other.
When my phone beep my heart skip. I knew it was him.

From: Hinata
Subject: going crazy
~doing my essay. But actually done nothing. 😧
What about u?

~the same. I replied.

Nagreply ulit sya.
~tapusin na natin tong essay so we can hangout without thinking about anything.
Now I miss him more i felt my cheeks getting a little hotter.

~okay. Excited talaga ako sa pagkakasend ko nyan with a grin plastered on my face. 'Gusto rin pala nya ako makasama. Scratch that, hindi nya ako gusto makasama that way. It's just one-sided feelings, it's just me.' I thought to myself.

Bumalik ako sa study table ko, pipigain ko na utak ko pra lang matapos to.

"Yosh! Let get this shit over with!"

Timeskip

I sighed of relief escape my mouth 'sa wakas tapos ko na'. Na triple check ko na din ok na siguro to ang sakit na ng kamay ko kakasulat. I didn't realize it's now 1:30am, but it's sunday so I guess i can sleep now for as long as i want.

The next morning.

I woke up at 9:00 in the morning. I checked my phone to see if someone message me. I wasn't surprise to see Hinata's message. We've been exchanging messages for a couple of months now. Nung una mga message lang ng oras ng practice hanggang sa naging 'nasa inyo ka na ba?', 'kumain ka na ba?', 'gawa mo?', 'nasaan ka?', 'kitakits bukas' at kung ano ano pa.

Subject: gudmorning

Received at 8:50am
Napangiti ako pagbasa ko ng message nya.

~ndi pa. Reply ko

~haha. Msta essay mo? He asked.

~I'm done. U?
I put my phone back on the night stand. I got up from my bed, stretching my arms above me. After i made my bed I went to the bathroom to do my daily routine. I went back to my bedroom and heard my phone beep and quickly check on it.

~I'm done too. Do u have any schedule today? ^_^

~wala. Do u wanna hangout? Mbilis kong reply. Wala png 2 seconds nagreply na din sya agad.

~yes! Do u wanna have lunch at mac?

~yep! Meet u there at 12.

Timeskip
At lunch

After long debating hour of what to wear i decided to go on with my white v-neck shirt covered with black jacket, navy blue skinny jeans and black converse. I'm now sitting at our usual spot at McD's. I'm a little 10 minutes early, so I decided to txt him.

To: Hinata
Subject: here
~wer n u? D2 n me. XD

I put my phone back to my pocket and sighed. Tumingin ako sa labas since ang spot namin ay clear glass ang katabi kung san nakikita ang labas at ang mga taong dumadaan daan. I saw the christmas decorations on every corner of the street when I realized I don't have yet anything to give Hinata on Christmas. 'What should I get him?' I asked myself putting my right hand under my chin.
In the corner of my eye I saw a figure sat across from me, but I was busy thinking what to give Hinata that I didn't even look who it was.

"Kageyama, I'm here" I was pulled back to reality when I heard those beautiful voice. I jerked my head towards where it was and I saw him smiling. He was panting a little with pink color dusted on his cheeks. I swear my heart skip a beat when our eyes met for like seconds before I look away.  'Calm down Kageyama! This is not a date. Just lunch." After calming myself i look back at him.

"Sorry. I didn't notice you. Stay here, I'll grab something to eat". Pagtayo ko tumayo din sya.

"Sa-Samahan na kita" he stuttered. I just noticed he's wearing navy blue hoodie, black skinny jeans and highcut converse. He put his hands inside the pocket of his hoodie, tilted his head when he notice I wasn't paying attention on what he said. "Ocge. Uupo nalang ako" bigla syang umupo ulit. I didn't mean to look at him from head to toes. Looking like i was just blankly staring at him. I was just admiring his looks.

"Tara na." I said, grabbing his wrist and pulling him upwards that ended up me pulling him with to much force. I quickly put my other hand around his waist to prevent him from falling. Hindi ako nakahinga nung naglapat ang mga katawan namin at nagkatinginan ulit kami sa mata. His wide hazel eyes staring into my dark orbs. As his cheeks turned redder, he blinks a few times before pulling away.

"Oops. Sorry hindi ko sadya" I scratched the back of my head, I forgot that he's light as a feather. And dammit! he's body is so soft, I felt something tightened at the southern part of my body but I quickly calm it down.

"It's okay. Tara" he walked towards the counter not even looking at me.

'Damn! I think he's mad' I thought to myself.

We order food and I paid for it, he insisted of paying but i told him it's my treat. We ate lunch in an awkward silence. I keep glancing at him and i caught him doing the same. When we're done i decided to break the silent.

"Hinata,if you're mad about earlier, I'm really sorry I-" I stop when he suddenly cut me off.

"I'm not mad!" He almost shouts.

"Eh, Bakit ang tahimik mo?" Quirking my brow in curiosity.

"Wala naman. Wala lang ako maisip na mapagusapan." He looked down at the table.

"May gusto ka pa bang puntahan after dito?" I asked, still staring at him.

"Wala naman." He looked back at me but quickly turn his gaze away.

"I knew it! You're mad. Coz if not alam kong magaaya ka pa sa iba." I huffed and put my arms across my chest.

"I already told you I'm not mad. I was just.." he fidget and didn't continue.

"Fine." I shrugged. "I'll take you home." He was going to say something but when he saw me looking at him he just nodded. I stood up with him following me behind.

We went to the train station. At wow! Blockbuster! Ang daming tao, I pulled out my train card at pumila na ako sa entrance kung saan itatap lang ang train card. When I looked behind I was expecting to see Hinata. My eyes widened, he wasn't there. I look around and there's no Hinata. Fuck! I lost him.
