Chapter Eleven

Charlie’s POV

“Hey you! How’s it going there? I miss you so much!”

It’s one of those late night Skype chat with Elise

“I miss you too! I wish I could hug you” Elise said with a pouty look

I giggled at her cute expression, “then hug your laptop, I’ll hug back!”

Elise smiled and gave her laptop a hug and of course I hugged back

We both smiled at our silly but sweet gesture

“Oh by the way, how’s college?”

“It’s all good, I’ve done my extra credit projects and…” Elise then stood and took something from her desk, she then showed some papers to me, which turned out to be her exams “I’ve passed all of my exams!”

“That is so great! I’m so proud of you!” I smiled happily

“Thanks! So can we celebrate my passing grades this weekend?”

“Of course! Your place or mine?” I teased

Elise laughed “Yours and I’m thinking dinner, sound good?”

“Definitely, see you on Friday!” I replied with a big grin

Elise smiled sweetly “oh, how’s soccer?”

“We won our last match!”

“Congrats! Looks like we have two things to celebrate, so tell me the highlights”

“Well, I passed the ball to Spencer and…”

Our conversation went on for hours and we just talked about everything and anything under the sun, we we’re enjoying talking to each other so much that we lost track of time and then we eventually got tired. We agreed on taking a nap but we eventually fell asleep, still on Skype

I woke up first and saw her sleeping in front of the laptop. She looked so beautiful, even her snoring sounds soft, it’s so freaking adorable. Instead of waking her up, I just sat there in front of my laptop and watched her sleep, time will tell if Elise and I are meant to be but right now, seeing her sleeping face makes me wish I could see her like this every single morning for the rest of my life

Elise’s POV

It was Friday afternoon, I was so excited to see Charlie that my mind was practically flying in heaven and I barely understood the lesson from any of my class that day. After classes, I went straight home and packed my things

“I see you’re peeing your pants from excitement” Kylie teased “you’re that excited to see her huh?”

“You have no idea” I smiled as I packed some clothes

I was in the middle of packing when we heard someone knock on the door

Kylie and I looked at each other with slight panic

“Uh-oh” Kylie said “pray that that’s not James” then she went and got the door

I crossed my fingers, hoping that wasn’t James and waited for Kylie to return. After a few minutes, Kylie entered and said “well your prayer wasn’t answered” and in comes James with a Cheshire grin and another bouquet of flowers

“Hey cutie” he greeted and went to give me a kiss

“Hey…”

James noticed me packing and asked, “Where are you heading off to?”
